Reggae Music Every Sunday in August
Sundays in August (August 3, 10, 17, 24 & 31) feature island rhythms in Ventura Harbor Village. Soak in laid-back vibes by the sea throughout August on the Village’s Seaside Promenade Stage.

The Harbor announced recently that paid parking will apply from 10am to 8pm Friday through Sunday and holidays at Ventura Harbor Village and neighboring beaches. Parking on Spinnaker Drive will remain free of charge. Under an hour will be free of charge. Up to 4 hours will be $1 per hour, or $10 for a day pass. 44th Annual Wings Over Camarillo Airshow on August 16-17, 2025

The Camarillo Wings Association will host the 2025 Wings Over Camarillo Air Show with support from volunteers from the Southern California Wing of the Commemorative Air Force, EAA Chapter 723 and the Ventura County 99s.

The event will take place August 16 and 17, 2025 at the Camarillo Airport. Gates open at 9am. Aerial performances run from noon to approximately 4pm.

The air show includes aerobatic performances from classic warbirds from the CAF, military aircraft, experimental aircraft, and more. On the ground will be a classic car show, aircraft display models, food vendors, craft beer, STEM Pavilion, robotics exhibition, and more.

This 43rd-anniversary event will feature a unique tribute to our military veterans that includes a recreation of wartime air combat with stunning pyrotechnics of fire and controlled explosions.  Military aircraft, past and present, will be on display for an up-close and personal one-of-a-kind experience.  This year, visitors can enjoy a Flight Line Preview from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and the pilots and crew will be on hand to answer any questions and talk about the unique history of the aircraft.

Five07 Turkey Day Dash 5K and Zack Zernik Mile in Thousand Oaks on Thursday, November 27, 2025

Five07 presents the 2025 Turkey Day Dash on Thanksgiving Thursday, November 27, 2025. Register for the 5K road race or the Zack Zernik Mile (run/walk) at Memorial Field at Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, 60 West Olsen Road.

Proceeds from the event will benefit three local non-profits - Hospice of the Conejo, Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks Foundation and Ventura County Council of Boy Scouts.

The Zack Zernik Mile is named for a Conejo Valley native and lifelong “Dasher” who lost his life in January 2023 at the age of 22. Zachary “Zack” Zernik, a graduate of Thousand Oaks High School, was climbing near Mount Boney outside Newbury Park when he lost his footing and fell. 

The Zack Zernik Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to two high school students. Winners will be announced before the start of the mile. To apply, go to turkeydaydash.org/zack-zernik-scholarship.

Festivities start at 7 am. The Zack Zernik Mile begins at 8 am, followed by the 5K at 8:30 am.

151st Anniversary Ventura County Fair to Take Place July 30 to August 10, 2025

The 2025 Ventura County Fair will take place July 30 to August 10 at the Ventura County Fairgrounds, 10 W. Harbor Boulevard in Ventura.

The fair features arts, crafts, food, exhibits, displays, demonstrations, farm animals, petting zoo, carnival rides, games and entertainment. More information at www.VenturaCountyFair.org.

General Admission Prices:  

Regular admission: Ages 13-64 $20, Ages 6-12 $15, Ages 65+ $15, Ages 0-5 free

Parking at the Ventura County Fair is $20.00 per car. Parking at the Fairgrounds is limited. Free shuttle buses are provided from the Ventura Government Center, Pacific View Mall, Ventura Community Park, Ventura High School and San Buenaventura State Beach (with $10 parking fee). Save the date for Summer Seaside Movie Nights, August 9, September 6, and October 11, 2025 starting after sunset at Ventura Harbor Village Main Lawn, 1583 Spinnaker Drive in Ventura. Plan to arrive early to enjoy live DJ or bands, and grab dinner and dessert at one of the Village's seaside restaurants. Movie-goers are encouraged to bring blankets and low chairs.

34th Annual Central Coast British Car Club Show at Channel Islands Harbor on September 21, 2025

More than 120 British cars from the 1930s and up will be on display during the 34th Annual Central Coast British Car Club Show to be held from 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Harbor View Park, Channel Islands Harbor, 3600 Harbor Blvd, Oxnard. The Carnival for Las Virgenes Schools at Whizin Market Square in Agoura Hills, August 29 to September 1, 2025

The Foundation for Las Virgenes Schools presents "The Carnival" on Labor Day weekend, August 29th through September 1st, 2025 at Whizin Market Square, 28914 Roadside Drive, Agoura Hills. Hours are Friday 6-11pm, Saturday 2-11pm, Sunday 2-10pm and Monday noon-5pm. Free admission. Beer and wine garden, food, rides, carnival games and more.

8th Annual Haunted Housing Run 5K in Ventura on Sunday, October 26, 2025

The 2025 Haunted Housing Run is planned for Sunday, October 26th at San Buenaventura State Beach.

Haunted Housing Run is a Halloween-themed 5K run/walk in support of the Housing Authority of the City of San Buenaventura (HACSB) Scholarship Program. Each year HACSB awards scholarships to current residents of affordable housing communities owned and/or managed by HACSB who are currently enrolled at a four-year college/university, community college, or vocational school.

Event begins at 8:30am at 901 San Pedro Street, Ventura. Costumes are encouraged!
