2019 Camarillo Fiesta Association Fiesta & Street Fair, July 18-21

The Camarillo Fiesta & Street Fair is a large community celebration in Old Town Camarillo along Ventura Boulevard planned for July 18-21, 2019. This event features carnival rides, food and crafts vendors, entertainment, car show, kids' activities, carnival rides and a beer and wine garden. We've been to this event a number of times and always enjoy the live music and carnival setting. The event is free to attend. Tickets for carnival rides for sale at the event.

10th National Collector Car Appreciation Day Car Show for Southern California on July 14th in Oxnard

The Coachman Car Club of Ventura County is hosting the 10th National Collector Car Appreciation Day Car Show for Southern California on Sunday, July 14th, 2019. Event to take place at Vista Ford Lincoln of Oxnard, 1501 Auto Center Drive from 11am to 4pm.

This event is open to all makes and models of collector cars, whether it be a car, truck, SUV, hot rod, exotic, sedan, hatchback, muscle car, rat rod, sports car, sport compact, domestic, import, JDM, European, and everything in between.

Entertainment is coordinated by Pinups for American Heroes. Live Music from incredible local talent, and the ever popular and classy Pinup Competition. The pinup competition is open to all that would like to compete!

Event proceeds will be donated to the non-profit, Turning Point Foundation, which provides support to those with mental iillnesses in Ventura County.

The 17th Annual Summer Jazz Concert Series at Gardens of the World, 2001 Thousand Oaks Boulevard will take place on Sundays once again this year from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. August 4th through 25th, 2019.

Rancho Simi Recreation & Park District Summer Movies, June through August

Rancho Simi Recreation & Park District presents free movies at Rancho Simi Community Park, 1765 Royal Avenue, Simi Valley this summer. The 2019 lineup includes:

31st Annual Santa Barbara French Festival July 13-14, 2019

The Santa Barbara French Festival returns to Oak Park July 13-14, 2019 to celebrate Bastille Day and all the things that make the French cultural history so rich. Great food, wine, mimosas, crepes, delicious pastries, music, dance, -- and, of course, the infamous Pooch Parade!

For two days Santa Barbara truly is the American Riviera as the French influences take over Oak Park. Each day the fun starts at 11:00 am when the entertainment kicks off on three different stages and continues non-stop until 7:00. The stages will be filled with dance and music from more than 30 different acts including performances, audience participation and instruction. And every minute of entertainment is all free!

The entertainment is only part of what the Festival has to offer -- more than 50 booths will be offering everything from crepes and delicious French pastries to face painting and henna tattoos. You can grab a mimosa or a beer, as you peruse some beautiful paintings and photography. Enjoy a delicious crepe while shopping for your French Festival t-shirt and beret. Take a moment for a quick massage and before you settle in for the next performance and a sinfully delicious croissant. All in the beautiful setting of Santa Barbara's Oak Park.

City of Camarillo Friday Night Movies in the Park in July and August 2019

The Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District once again is hosting a series of free outdoor movies on Friday nights starting July 12 through August 16, 2019 at various park in the city. Refreshments available for purchase. Movies start at 8pm.

2019 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular and Other Fun Events in Thousand Oaks

The 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, coordinated by the Conejo Recreation and Park District, The City of Thousand Oaks and other local sponsors, takes place on the hill behind the Hillcrest Center of the Arts in Thousand Oaks. Fireworks start at 9 p.m., with a great view from the Janss Marketplace and The Oaks mall parking lots and surrounding areas!  Information: (805) 495-6471. Patriotic music simulcast by KHAY 100.7.
