The Conejo Recreation & Park District’s 2025 Touch-A-Truck will be held on Saturday, June 14th, from 10:00am-2:00pm at Thousand Oaks Community Park, 2525 N. Moorpark Rd. in Thousand Oaks.

This popular event allows kids to have fun kicking the tires, honking the horns, and climbing up into the driver’s seat of their favorite trucks and construction vehicles such as a garbage truck, an Army truck, tractor, excavator, dump truck, school bus, fire engine, ambulance, bulldozer, police cruiser, SWAT vehicle, K-9 and search and rescue vehicles, motorcycles, and more.

In addition to dozens of trucks and vehicles of all shapes and sizes, there will be fun activities, including arts and crafts, a kids’ construction zone, jolly jumps, and a motorized train ride. The parking lot fills up quickly, so be prepared to park at the Thousand Oaks High School parking lot. Admission is free for all ages. For information, visit www.crpd.org/truck

39th Annual Sespe Creek 4th of July Car Show, Chili Cook-Off & Cornhole Tournament in Downtown Fillmore on Friday, July 4, 2025

The Sespe Creek 4th of July Car Show, Chili Cook-Off & Cornhole Tournament will take place in downtown Fillmore on Friday, July 4, 2025 from 9 am to 4 pm.

In addition to 250+ cars, there will be a chili cook-off, cornhole tournament, live music, food and drink vendors, craft/retail vendors, and more. Main stage entertainment will be at Central Avenue and Sespe Street.

2025 Independence Day Fireworks Display in Santa Barbara on Friday, July 4th

The City of Santa Barbara is hosting its annual Independence Day fireworks display beginning at 9pm on Friday, July 4, 2025 off West Beach.

From noon to 8:50pm there will be live music at the West Beach bandstand. From 11am to 9pm, enjoy food and vendor booths on the Cabrillo Boulevard Sidewalk at West Beach.

Radio simulcast on 92.9 KjEE (92.9 FM) or watch a livestream of the fireworks show at KEYT.com. The show is about 20 minutes long.

2025 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular and Other Fun Events in Thousand Oaks

The 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, coordinated by the Conejo Recreation and Park District, The City of Thousand Oaks and other local sponsors, takes place on the hill behind the Hillcrest Center of the Arts in Thousand Oaks. Fireworks start at 9 p.m., with a great view from Janss Marketplace and The Oaks mall parking lots and surrounding areas!  Patriotic music simulcast by KHAY 100.7 FM.

Other 4th of July activities in Thousand Oaks include the following:

The City of Moorpark presents its 3rd of July Fireworks Extravaganza on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Arroyo Vista Park, 4550 Tierra Rejada Road, Moorpark. Gates open and festivities - live music, activities, games, food vendors, etc. - start at 4:00 p.m.

Admission: $8 advance purchase or $10 cash at the gate.

Onsite parking $5 - must be purchased in advance.

Valley Cultural Foundation’s Free Concerts at Warner Park in Woodland Hills - June 15 to August 24, 2025

Valley Cultural Foundation’s Free Concerts at Warner Park take place on Sunday evenings from June 15 to August 24, 2025 (except the Sunday after 4th of July). All concerts start at 5:30 PM with Emerging Artists Opening Act performances. Headliners will follow shortly after and end at 8 PM.

Located at the Nora Ross Bandshell at the Lou Bredlow Pavilion at 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills. There is plenty of room for a late afternoon picnic with the family while being entertained by headline performers.

2025 4th of July Celebration at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley on Friday, July 4th

Come help us commemorate the 250th anniversary of the birth of the United States and the signing of the Declaration of Independence that will kick off this year on July 4th and will conclude on the actual 250th birthday – July 4, 2026. The anniversary is known as “A250.” This year’s July 4th A250 inspired event will include a program with our Founding Father Presidential-reenactors, a special performance by the Los Robles Children’s Choir, and a large group patriotic photo with all of our July Independence Day guests.

Enjoy live music by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Band and country artist Justin Honsinger, along with appearances by Iwo Jima re-enactors and presidential look-alikes. Family-friendly activities include face painting, crafts, lawn games, carnival picnic games, and Presidential Bingo with prizes. Event begins at 10 a.m. All outdoor activities are free. Regular admission applies to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Museum, Air Force One Pavilion, and the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit.

2025 Regal Theaters Summer Movie Express ($1 Movies) in Thousand Oaks, Camarillo and Simi Valley

Regal Theaters presents its Summer Movie Express 2025. Moviegoers of all ages can climb aboard to enjoy a great selection of films. During the summer, select Regal Cinemas, United Artists and Edwards Theatres will offer selected G or PG rated movies for only $1 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at designated time frames. Summer Movie Express 2025 runs June 10 to August 6.

2025 Fireworks Spectacular in Westlake Village on Friday, July 4th

The 10th Anniversary 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular hosted by the City of Westlake Village is planned for Friday, July 4, 2025.

Fireworks will be launched from the Westlake Village Golf Course at approximately 9:10pm.

Gates open at 5pm. No outside alcohol allowed - beer and wine will be available for purchase. Event also to include inflatable jumpers for the kids, putting contest, live music, various food trucks and more.

Offiste parking available at Townsgate and Lakeview Canyon Roads.

2025 Ventura Rotary Fireworks Show and Family Picnic on Friday, July 4th

The Rotary Club of Ventura is hosting its annual Fireworks Show and Family Picnic on Friday, July 4th at the beautiful Ventura College athletic fields.

Gates open at 5 pm with a spectacular fireworks show at 9 pm. The evening also includes live music, food trucks, and a Kids Fun Zone with bounce houses, inflatable attractions and organized games.

Guests may bring a picnic, including food, coolers, non alcoholic drinks (in plastic or aluminum), blankets and soft folding chairs. Small umbrellas are allowed, however pop-ups and large umbrellas are not allowed.  Please, no pets and no BBQs/stoves.
