2026 Reyes Adobe Days "RAD" 5K on Sunday, October 4, 2026

The Reyes Adobe Days RAD Run 5K is planned for Sunday, October 4, 2026 at 8am. The race will take place on a (previously certified) flat and fast course, starting and ending at the Whizin Market Square in Agoura Hills. Custom medals awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place age group winners. Age groups: 13 & Under, 14-19, 20-29 30-39,40-49,50-59,60-69,70 & over. Race starts at 8;30 a.m.

Also the RAD Kids Mile for ages 10 and under will start at 9:15 a.m.

Walk to End Alzheimer's - Ventura is slated for Saturday, October 3, 2026 at the Ventura Harbor Village Main Lawn, 1591 Spinnaker Dr Ventura.

Walk to End Alzheimer's® is the world's largest fundraiser for Alzheimer's care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease.

Five07 Turkey Day Dash 5K and Zack Zernik Mile in Thousand Oaks on Thursday, November 26, 2026

Five07 presents the 2026 Turkey Day Dash on Thanksgiving Thursday, November 26, 2026. Register for the 5K road race or the Zack Zernik Mile (untimed run/walk) at Memorial Field at Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, 60 West Olsen Road.

Proceeds from the event will benefit three local non-profits - Hospice of the Conejo, Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks Foundation and Scouting America Ventura County Council. Since 2023, the Dash has raised over $200,000 for local charities.

The Zack Zernik Mile is named for a Conejo Valley native and lifelong “Dasher” who lost his life in January 2023 at the age of 22. Zachary “Zack” Zernik, a graduate of Thousand Oaks High School, was climbing near Mount Boney outside Newbury Park when he lost his footing and fell. 

The Zack Zernik Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to two high school students. Winners will be announced before the start of the mile. To apply, go to turkeydaydash.org/zack-zernik-scholarship.

Festivities start at 7 am. The Zack Zernik Mile begins at 8 am, followed by the 5K at 8:30 am.

California Lemon Festival in Goleta September 26-27, 2026

Stop by Girsh Park in Goleta on September 26-27, 2026 for the California Lemon Festival. Admission and parking are free. Open 10am to 6pm both days.

Festival will include 80+ booths, lemony food and drinks, live entertainment, kid zone, classic car show on Saturday (9am-3pm), pie eating contests, and more.

Relay for Life of Conejo Valley in Thousand Oaks on Saturday, September 19, 2026

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Conejo Valley event is a life-changing experience that gives everyone in their community a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, Remember loved ones lost, and Fight Back against the disease.  The 2026 event will take place on Saturday, September 19th from 8 am to 8 pm at California Lutheran University’s Memorial Field, 141 Memorial Pkwy, Thousand Oaks.

The festivities begin with a non-competitive 5k fun run around the beautiful CLU campus. After the runners return, we will kick off the Relay event with Opening Ceremonies featuring local civic leaders, volunteer organizers, and cancer survivors from all across Conejo Valley will start the first lap of the Relay. Throughout the day fundraising teams will host games and activities for all ages, local bands will play awesome music, and food will be available for a donation to the American Cancer Society.

We Crawl This Town - So Cal 5K and Beer Mile Relay in Camarillo on June 13, 2026

We Crawl This Town- So Cal 5k and Beer Mile Relay is planned for June 13, 2026 at 3841 Mission Oaks Boulevard, Camarillo at 8 a.m.

Starting with the widely popular beer send off toast (21+ runners only), you will embark on a fast and flat course starting and finishing from Institution Ale Company in Camarillo. Along the way you will run a significant portion of your race on the beautiful bike path over looking the Calleguas Creek before ultimately finishing back at the brewery and joining a beer sampling event and live music.

If running the 5K, be sure to stick around for the beer 1 mile relays where teams go head to head in a one of a kind race format.

2026 Bulldog 50K and 25K Runs in Malibu Creek State Park on Saturday, August 15th

The challenging and popular Bulldog runs consist of two races - the 25K Bulldog Trail Run and the 50K Bulldog Ultra Run, which are conducted simultaneously (though the 50K starts an hour earlier - at 7 am.). This year’s event is on Saturday, August 15, 2026.

Run in the beautiful scenic Santa Monica Mountains Recreational Area beginning at base camp in Malibu Creek State Park.

The course offers inspirational vistas of untamed terrain and sweeping ocean views. The challenging trail weaves through the mountains on single track and fire roads.
