Moorpark Groundhog Day 5K and 1 Mile Run on Saturday, February 7, 2026

The Moorpark Groundhog Day 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run is planned for Saturday, February 7, 2026. Event proceeds benefit Moorpark High School’s cross country and track programs. All ages and abilities are welcome.  All participants age 11 and under who complete the 5k will received a finisher medal.  There will also be a “Catch the Groundhog” 1 mile fun run for kids 11 and under which will be held on the track with finisher medals for all.

Post-race festivities include the awards ceremony with age group medals plus refreshments, vendors and a raffle of wonderful prizes donated by local businesses.

Moorpark High School is located at 4500 Tierra Rejada Road, Moorpark. There will be plenty of free parking close to the race start.

14th Annual Autism Society of Ventura County Aut2Run 5K/10K 1 Mile Run Event in Camarillo on Sunday, April 26, 2026

The Autism Society of Ventura County hosts its 12th Annual charity “Aut2Run!” race at California State University Channel Islands on Sunday, April 26, 2026.

The event features a 10K trail run, 5K Run/Walk, 15K "Hero Run" (10K and 5K combined), 1 mile walk/run and a Fun-K. Open to competitive runners, casual walkers, families & the community. Learn more and register at www.aut2run.org.

Proceeds benefit the Autism Society of Ventura County. ASVC is a local chapter of the national Autism Society, a 501c3 not-for-profit organization whose mission is to improve the lives of all affected by Autism. ASVC was founded in 1994 by local parents and educators to provide support groups, community events, information and resources to families and individuals on the Autism Spectrum.

16th Annual Camarillo YMCA Run For Holiday Fun 5K/10K on December 6, 2025

The 16th Annual Camarillo YMCA Run for Holiday Fun 5K/10K, will take place in the Village at the Park community in beautiful Camarillo at 8 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025.

The course takes you through a scenic walking path and is a friendly course for both novice and experienced runners. There will also be a Kids Fun Run 1K.

100% of all proceeds will go towards the Camarillo YMCA Open Doors Scholarship Fund that allows children, youth, families, and seniors to participate in the programs the YMCA so uniquely provides.

The Camarillo Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K and 10K are planned for Sunday, August 2, 2026. The event, which will start/finish at the Pleasant Valley Fields, will run largely along the Camarillo Bike Path and nearby roads. The day also features a half marathon, 10K and 5K.
