MUDDY WARRIORS™ XPERIENCE is a trail run that will test your strength, overall fitness and your will. This is not a traditional race. You will be challenged over trails, hills and fun obstacles. You may register as an individual or register with a team. The MW XPERIENCE is about not quitting, helping people around you that need it and pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone. The Holly Jolly Half Marathon, 5K and 10K is planned for Sunday, December 1, 2019 at the Pleasant Valley Fields, 152 Westpark Ct., Camarillo. The 5K/10K course is over gentle rolling hills along the fully paved Camarillo bike path and surrounding neighborhoods.

The City of Westlake Village's 17th Annual City Celebration will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 3pm to 8pm. Event will feature the White Oak Elementary Family Fun Fair, food trucks, craft beer, wine, a teen area for ages 13 and up, displays and activities, dance and game zone, local community performances, magic show, a shredding event and more.

Parking is available across the street at the Farmers Insurance Parking Lot, 31051 Agoura Road. The event takes place at the Westlake Village Civic Center, 31200 Oak Crest Drive.
White Oak Family Fun Fair
The popular White Oak Family Fun Fair returns with exciting rides like the Zipper, Swing Chairs, Pirate Ship, traditional Ferris Wheel, Carousel, inflatables and the Giant Slide. Make sure to visit the White Oak PFC ticket booth and spirit wear to help support the local school. Unlimited ride bracelets cost $35 each. Individual ride tickets cost $4 each. One ticket equals one ride.
Canned Food Collection
Residents are encouraged to drop-off cans or boxes of food for Manna Food Bank at the collection tables as you enter the event. Help to stock the shelves at the local food pantry. First 25 participants to bring two or more cans each will get a free ride ticket!
Performances and Dance Zone
The Friends of the Westlake Village Library will sponsor a free magic show featuring magician “Arty Loon” at 6:00 pm in the City Council Chambers. The Yarrow Family YMCA will be demonstrating some of their activity classes, including Zumba, K-Pop and Hip-Hop on the dance floor between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. The dance floor will remain open all evening for people to come and go as they please. The YMCA will also be hosting a sensory activity table. Membership and other information about the newly opened facility will be available.
Family Friendly Activities
To add to the day’s fun and to provide additional activities for all ages, the City is sponsoring free activities including balloon animals, face painting, a photo booth, Sheriff and Fire meet ‘n’ greet area, Captain Carl’s Mobile Tide Pool, an arcade room and some interactive tables. Local business, Create Studios, will host an arts and crafts booth with free activities for residents of all ages. Polis and Associates will be on site to hand out materials on recycling. CLU Counseling Services will also host a booth to share information about their center’s services. Stop by and say hello!
Food Trucks, Beer and Wine
Enjoy food selections from “Epic Tacos Food Truck”, “Grilled Cheese Truck”, “Jogasaki Sushi Burrito”, “Kona Ice”, “California Kettle Corn”, “Farm and Flame”, and “Cousin’s Maine Lobster”. Tables for dining are available around the dance floor and in the back patio. Relax with a glass of craft beer or wine in the comfortable lounge area located in the back terrace. Dinner and drink purchases will help support the Westlake Village Community Foundation. Food, beer, and wine will be available for purchase from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Back by popular demand, residents will have the opportunity to drop off sensitive documents for safe and secure shredding at the event’s designated parking lot area (31051 Agoura Road) across the street from City Hall. The shredding event from Williams Data Management is limited to three boxes per family to allow for as many residents to participate as possible. The document shredding will be held from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The shredding is sponsored by Polis and Associates.
The October Classic 5K and 10K Walk/Run will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Ojai Valley Community Hospital, 1306 Maricopa Hwy. Proceeds benefit the Hospital.

The City of Moorpark and the Rotary Club of Moorpark Noontime present the 6th Annual Moorpark Mammoth Run 5K/10K on Sunday, October 6, 2019
Run the ancient trails of the Southern Mammoths through the beautiful rolling hills of Moorpark. There's also a 1 mile fun run/walk planned. Event will also include music, dancing, warm-up stretches, yoga and giveaways. Proceeds from the Moorpark Mammoth Run will go to local charities and the Rotary Foundation.
Due to the overwhelming success of the 5k/10k Mammoth Run, event venue has been changed to Arroyo Vista Community Park in 2019 starting at 8:30am. Learn more at www.moorparkmammothrun.com.
The Conejo Valley YMCA is hosting its 15th Annual Turkey Day Dash on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 28, 2019. The 5K run/walk and 1K family fun run/walk is held at California Lutheran University (60 West Olsen Road, Thousand Oaks).
All ages and abilities are welcome. Professional timing is provided for 5K runners. The 1K family fun run/walk is at 7:30 a.m. and the 5K run/walk starts at 8:00 a.m.
Costume Contest will be at 7:15 AM before the start of the 1K Kids Race! Come dressed in your favorite Thanksgiving Day costume to participate! Top 3 winners will receive prizes! Dress as a group, or individually.
Proceeds from the Turkey Day Dash benefit Conejo Valley YMCA youth and senior programs. Participants receive a Turkey Day Dash YMCA t-shirt while supplies last.

The 6th Annual Thanksgiving Day 5K takes place at Rancho Simi Community Park, 1765 Royal Avenue, Simi Valley on Thursday, November 28, 2019. Run along the Arroyo bike path, lined with beautiful trees for shade through the center of Simi Valley and along the Arroyo Creek. Aid stations every 1.5 miles.

Head to the Ventura Auto Center, 6451 Auto Center Drive, Ventura, on Thursday, November 28, 2019 for the 13th Annual Ventura Turkey Trot.
This fast and fun 5K starts at 8 a.m. For the 12 and under crowd, there’s the free Kids’ 1K which starts at 9:15 a.m. Registration includes finisher’s shirt, electronic chip timing and post-race food.
