The Kevin Cordasco Foundation and the City of Calabasas present The 3rd Annual Calabasas Classic 5K Run/Walk for the Heroes of Childhood Cancer on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at the Calabasas Civic Center. Event features 5K at 9:30am and Kids Dash at 9am. Cost is $54 per person. Kids Dash is $32.80.

The Child Abuse Prevention Council’s 8th Annual 5K Run/Walk and Community Fair will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at ‘olol’koy Beach Park in Oxnard (1601 S. Harbor Blvd.). 5K begins at 8 a.m. Learn more and register at www.partnership5k.org.
We Crawl This Town- So Cal 5k and Beer Mile Relay is planned for June 13, 2026 at 3841 Mission Oaks Boulevard, Camarillo at 8 a.m.
Starting with the widely popular beer send off toast (21+ runners only), you will embark on a fast and flat course starting and finishing from Institution Ale Company in Camarillo. Along the way you will run a significant portion of your race on the beautiful bike path over looking the Calleguas Creek before ultimately finishing back at the brewery and joining a beer sampling event and live music.
If running the 5K, be sure to stick around for the beer 1 mile relays where teams go head to head in a one of a kind race format.

The challenging and popular Bulldog runs consist of two races - the 25K Bulldog Trail Run and the 50K Bulldog Ultra Run, which are conducted simultaneously (though the 50K starts an hour earlier - at 7 am.). This year’s event is on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
Run in the beautiful scenic Santa Monica Mountains Recreational Area beginning at base camp in Malibu Creek State Park.
The course offers inspirational vistas of untamed terrain and sweeping ocean views. The challenging trail weaves through the mountains on single track and fire roads.

The Lakeside Fun Run is presented by the Calabasas Park Homeowners Association at the Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center. Events begin at 7:45 am and include 4 and 2 mile runs, 2 mile walk and 1/4 mile races for youth 12 and under. Register at calabasasrec.org.
Summer Splash Party at the Tennis & Swim Center, 2300 Park Sorrento, on July 4th from noon–5:30 pm. Spend the day poolside. There will be games, prizes, music and more. Outside food is permitted - coolers, ice chests, glass bottles, alcohol are prohibited. Free admission.

The Boogie Nights Summer Run Series is back for a 10 week run in 2026 on Wednesday nights from May 20th through July 22nd, starting at 6:20 pm. 5K start/finish is at the Ventura Promenade in front of Aloha Steakhouse and The Crowne Plaza. Free kids fun run starts at 6 pm.
Chip timing and a t-shirt for those that register for the series and flat course along the Ventura Promenade. Cost is less than $20 per race or $139 for the entire 10 week series, including t-shirt. Drinks and a light meal from Aloha Steakhouse can be added to your registration.

The Jewel Levine Foundation presents the Jingle Bell Jog at Dos Vientos 5K/10K Run/Walk on Saturday, December 19, 2026. Event starts and ends at Dos Vientos Community Park, 4801 Borchard Road, Newbury Park. and takes place in and around the streets of the Dos Vientos section of Newbury Park. 10K starts at 8:30am; 5K at 8:45am.

The Run for the Rancho 2026 Race Series is a 5K race series on the scenic trails at Rancho Las Virgenes, 3700 Las Virgenes Road, Calabasas that will be held on Thursdays, June 18, June 25, and July 2.
The race series supports scholarships for SAMO Fund’s internship restoration programs.
The Kiddie 1K will begin at 6:00 each evening, followed by the 5K Trail/Road run at 6:30 pm.

The Ventura Beachfront Run (1/2 Marathon, 10K, 5K & Kids Fun Run) will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026 with a scenic course along the beautiful coastline. The race will begin on the north side of the Ventura Pier, 668 Harbor Boulevard.
The half marathon and 10K runs along the oceanfront promenade and extends along PCH, creating a flat and scenic course. The 5K runs out and back along the oceanfront promenade. Half marathon starts at 7 am. Race participants will receive a t-shirt and finisher’s medal.
