Free Clinic of Simi Valley 5K/10K Run, 1K Kids Fun Run and Health Expo on Sat, October 14, 2017

The Free Clinic of Simi Valley, in partnership with Simi Valley Hospital, presents the Fredrick Michael Gibson 5K/10K Run for Depression Awareness and Tooth Fairy 1K Kids Fun Run and Community Health Expo at the Simi Valley Town Center on Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 8:00 am – 12:00 noon.

Proceeds benefit the medical, counseling, legal and dental programs of the Free Clinic, including the pediatric dental program. The Free Clinic delivers services to thousands of people each year. The event serves as the Free Clinic’s most important fundraising event of the year and its success is critical to continued services.

Fredrick Michael Gibson 5K/10K Run for Depression Awareness - To bring awareness to the community at large about the devastating effects of depression. To shine the light on this mental illness and to be able to help people receive the care and medical treatment and counseling they might need. All proceeds benefit the Free Clinic of Simi Valley's counseling department. 

All registered participants will receive a t-shirt (guaranteed if registered by Oct. 5th, and as supplies last if after date) and a goody bag, plus all kids running the 1K will receive a prize. 

***Dogs are allowed (on a leash) and will also receive a special little "swag" to wear!! 

There are medals to the top three finishers in each age group for both the 5K and 10K. 

Stay after the run and enjoy the Health and Fitness Expo that will be going on from 8am to 12pm.
