47th Annual Thousand Oaks Chili Cook-Off, Car Show and Craft Brew Festival on Sunday, May 5, 2024

Mark your calendars for the 47th Annual Thousand Oaks Chili Cook-Off, Car Show & Craft Brew Festival on Sunday, May 5, 2024. Held from noon – 5pm (11:00 am entry for VIP tickets), this family friendly extravaganza will take place at Conejo Creek Park North at Janss Rd & Hwy 23 in Thousand Oaks.

There will be over 40 chili tasting booths – and included with your general admission is free unlimited chili tasting. Returning again is the popular Craft Brew Festival – an event within an event – with a multitude of participating breweries! There will also be a Classic & Custom Car Show in several style and vintage categories and live music on two stages. Also on hand will be over a dozen food trucks and beverage booths and a free kids’ fun zone.

The Chili Cook-Off is proudly presented by the Rotary Club of Thousand Oaks, with 100% of the net proceeds going to local charities.  Day of event general admission is $25, VIP for $40, with kids 10 & under getting in for free; $75 gets you all the fun of the Cook-Off plus exclusive admission to the Craft Brew Festival, and the top ticket package for VIP/Chili/Craft Brew tickets goes for $100. For 33 years, CSCVVSB has worked to fulfill its mission ensuring that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community. We offer professionally led support groups, individual counseling, networking groups, educational workshops, and healthy lifestyle classes. These programs are at no cost to participants.

Logix Love Run 2024 5K/10K/1 Mile in Westlake Village on June 2nd

The Senior Concerns 30th Anniversary Love Run, presented by Logix, is planned for Sunday, June 2, 2024 in Westlake Village. The races start and finish at 3011 Townsgate Road.

Runners and walkers can participate in a 10K, 5K or one-mile fun run. It is the perfect event for the entire family. Virtual runs are also available.

This annual event supports Senior Concerns’ Meals On Wheels Program, which helps ensure that homebound seniors do not go without food. Volunteers deliver two nutritious, freshly-prepared meals 364 days a year. Funds raised from the Love Run help enable Senior Concerns to provide Meals On Wheels scholarships to those who cannot afford the program and ensures nobody in financial need is turned away. The Love Run also provides support for other Senior Concerns programs and services.

The 36th Annual Ojai Wine Festival is the longest running wine festival in Ventura County. This year will be the 14th Annual Rolling for Pink (RFP) Bunko Tournament! The event is a unique, fun, high-energy way to support the loved ones in our lives that are affected by this terrible disease.
