The 33rd Annual Ponies by the Sea Car Show will be held at Harbor View Park at Channel Islands Harbor (3600 Harbor Blvd., Oxnard) on Sunday, October 13, 2019 from 10am to 3pm. Mustangs and other Ford powered vehicles are welcome to enter. and over 100 cars will be on display. Proceeds from the show to benefit the Guide Dogs of America. Food trucks and vendors will be on hand.

The Kids Seaside Trick or Treat event is 1-3pm also on Saturday, October 26 Kids in costume may stop by 15 participating businesses for Halloween treats, face painting and seaside fun.

Before you gobble, gobble, get out and run Ventura County’s fastest 5K on Thanksgiving morning!
Head to the Ventura Auto Center, 6451 Auto Center Drive, Ventura, on Thursday, November 28, 2019 for the 13th Annual Ventura Turkey Trot.
This fast and fun 5K starts at 8 a.m. For the 12 and under crowd, there’s the free Kids’ 1K which starts at 9:15 a.m. Registration includes finisher’s shirt, electronic chip timing and post-race food.

The 26th Annual Salmon Run at Patagonia, 235 W. Santa Clara Street, Ventura takes place on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. This is a certified 5K course on a flat dirt road along the Ventura River. Patagonia® gear awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each age category. Silent auction, raffle and refreshments. Limited to 400 runners/walkers! This event usually sells out! No race day signups!

A wonderful display of dogs (and owners) in creative and thematic costumes to win prizes takes place at Ventura Harbor Village on Saturday, October 26, 2019! Starts at 11am – however, please arrive at 10:30 to sign up! Enter your pup in the fun and parade your pooch around the pet-friendly Harbor Village! No entry fee. Hundreds come to watch and take photos. We will accept a maximum off 100 dog entries, so please pre-register to secure your spot at link above.
All doggies that participate get a treat bag from Ventura Pet Barn, all owners get a bag of scooby snacks and a Wooden Nickel for $ off at Coastal Cone Ice cream, and a professional photographer will be on site to snap photos of your pooch.
