Conejo Valley CROP Hunger Walk on Sunday, March 22, 2026
/The Conejo Valley CROP Hunger Walk takes place on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at the Cal Lutheran University Sports Complex in Thousand Oaks. CROP Walks help raise awareness and funds for international relief and development, as well as for for local hunger related charities.
When CROP began in 1947 (under the wing of Church World Service, which was founded in 1946), CROP was an acronym for the Christian Rural Overseas Program. Its primary mission was to help Midwest farm families to share their grain with hungry neighbors in post-World War II Europe and Asia.
The CROP Hunger Walk is 4 miles through the community near CLU. There will also be a 20 minute campus stroll; a guided tour of the CLU campus. Registration is from 12-1:00 PM and the walk begins at 1pm. Registration is free; donations accepted.
