The Thousand Oaks Rotary Foundation will celebrate the 25th Annual Thousand Oaks Rotary Wine & Beer Festival on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 1-4PM at the Westlake Yacht Club, 32119 Lindero Canyon Road, Westlake Village. Since its inception, the event, for adults ages 21 and up, has raised over $600,000 to benefit the Ventura County Special Olympics and the Thousand Oaks Rotary Foundation which supports many local charities and provides student educational scholarships.

Special Olympics Ventura County offers free year-round sports training and athletic competition to over 700 children and adults with intellectual disabilities in 10 Olympic style sports at over 20 county sites.

The Thousand Oaks Rotary Foundation has been a major supporter of the Special Olympics and has enabled over 10,000 athletes to compete. The club also donates more than $175,000 each year to many local and international charities to foster social, cultural, economic, and environmental progress.

We Crawl This Town- So Cal 5k and Beer Mile Relay is planned for June 13, 2026 at 3841 Mission Oaks Boulevard, Camarillo at 8 a.m.

Starting with the widely popular beer send off toast (21+ runners only), you will embark on a fast and flat course starting and finishing from Institution Ale Company in Camarillo. Along the way you will run a significant portion of your race on the beautiful bike path over looking the Calleguas Creek before ultimately finishing back at the brewery and joining a beer sampling event and live music.

If running the 5K, be sure to stick around for the beer 1 mile relays where teams go head to head in a one of a kind race format.

39th Annual A Taste of Camarillo Wine, Brew and Food Festival on July 26, 2026

A Taste of Camarillo - Wine, Brew & Food Festival will take place on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at the Camarillo Ranch, 201 Camarillo Ranch Road, Camarillo, from noon to 4:30 pm.

This is perhaps the longest running wine, brew and food festival in Ventura County. Guests spend an afternoon sampling fine wines, craft beers and gourmet foods on the grounds of the historic Camarillo Ranch. The 24th Annual Margarita MixOff and More, presented by Soroptimist International of the Conejo, is planned for Thursday, September 24, 2026 at The Gardens at Los Robles Greens in Thousand Oaks from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Tickets are $55 in advance and $65 at the event. Admission gets you tickets to taste margaritas and appetizers. Beer, wine and soft drinks included. Ages 21+ only.

Senior Concerns is pleased to announce its 38th Annual Ultimate Dining Experience on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Westlake.
