The 41st Annual Ventura County Greek Festival will take place June 21-23, 2019. The event is presented by St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church and features live Greek music, folk dancing, food, delicious pastries and baklava, vendors and a kids' play area. The food at this event is DELICIOUS!

The 26th Annual Casa Pacifica Angels Wine, Food & Brew Festival will be held Sunday, June 2, 2019 from 1-5pm at CSU Channel Islands in Camarillo. Admission to the event includes samplings from restaurants, wineries, breweries, caterers, bakeries, specialty shops, coffee and tea vendors, among others from Northern California to the Conejo Valley, as well as continuous entertainment throughout the day and a large silent auction.
All proceeds from the Wine & Food Festival will go to Casa Pacifica Centers for Children and Families – the largest nonprofit provider of children’s mental health services in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties whose mission is to provide hope and help to abused, neglected, or at-risk children.

Casa Pacifica Centers for Children and Families is a crisis-care and residential treatment facility for abused, neglected, or at-risk children in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. The 36th Anniversary California Strawberry Festival will be held at Strawberry Meadows of College Park, 3250 South Rose Avenue, Oxnard, on Saturday and Sunday, May 18 and 19, 2019.
Festivalgoers can taste strawberry treats from dozens of food and drink vendors and take part in strawberry pie eating contests, strawberry relays, strawberry tart tosses and other free contests. An estimated 1.5 million strawberries will be consumed at the festival. The two days also feature a vendor marketplace, live music on two outdoor stages, carnival, cooking demonstrations and kids' rides and entertainment at their own Strawberryland. Since its inception, the California Strawberry Festival has donated over $4.5 million to southern California charitable organizations. Free shuttle service to the festival is available ($10 to park onsite).
General admission is $12, seniors 62+ are $8 and children ages 5-12 are $5. Kids 4 and under are free.

11th ANNUAL OXNARD TAMALE FESTIVAL ON DECEMBER 1, 2018
The City of Oxnard Recreation & Community Services Department proudly presents this year’s 11th Annual Oxnard Tamale Festival, taking place inside Oxnard’s historic Plaza Park, located at 500 South C Street, Oxnard on Saturday, December 1, 2018.
This event will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and admission is free.
Event participants will be able to choose from a number of different tamale vendors. Other activities will include live entertainment, arts and crafts, cooking demonstrations, eating contests, amusement rides and much more.

Bananas are tops at the 7th Annual Port of Hueneme Banana Festival, Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Festival guests will enjoy a variety of delicious foods, including BBQ, empanadas, gourmet grilled cheese, sushi burritos, shaved ice, banana splits (of course!), banana beignets and more. Each food vendor will offer at least one unique banana dish.
The festival also features live bands, beer & margaritas, arts and crafts vendors, and kids’ crafts and activities. Free tours of the Port are available that highlight 80 years as Ventura County’s only working port. Visitors will also have an opportunity to learn more about the Port’s history, customers, imports/exports and environmental contributions at the Festival’s Port Pavilion. The Festival is located on the Port of Hueneme, with the entrance at the corner of Surfside Drive & Market Street. Free admission and parking at the beach lots.
