The 4tjh Annual Parade of Frights at Channel Islands Harbor is a non-competitive, Halloween-themed boat parade scheduled for 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2025.

Prior to the Parade of Frights, a variety of organizations and businesses will be offering Halloween-related events and activities starting at 3 p.m.

28th Annual Oxnard Multicultural Festival on Saturday, October 4, 2025

The 28th Annual Oxnard Multicultural Festival is presented by the City of Oxnard's Community Relations Commission.

The festival is held annually on the first Saturday of October. The festival celebrates the rich cultural diversity of its residents and the city’s history. People of every culture come together to learn and discover their shared values in an atmosphere that honors all.

The festival offers a variety of performing groups, live music, food trucks, exhibitors, demonstrations and hands-on activities for the entire family. Admission is always free.   The 2025 event is Saturday, October 4th from 10am to 4pm at Plaza Park, 500 South C Street in Oxnard.

34th Annual Central Coast British Car Club Show at Channel Islands Harbor on September 21, 2025

More than 120 British cars from the 1930s and up will be on display during the 34th Annual Central Coast British Car Club Show to be held from 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Harbor View Park, Channel Islands Harbor, 3600 Harbor Blvd, Oxnard. There will also be food trucks, vendors, DJ and a raffle.

Chowderfest Event at Channel Islands Maritime Museum on Sunday, September 14, 2025

After a hiatus since 2019, the annual CHOWDERFEST event will be back on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from, 2-6pm at the Channel Islands Maritime Museum.

The event will feature live music from local bands, creating the perfect backdrop for an afternoon of culinary delights and community camaraderie. Guests can also explore the museum's exhibits, as admission is included with the event ticket. Fifteen local restaurants will be participating at the events

Tickets are priced at $40 in advance and $45 at the door. Given the event's popularity, advance purchase is highly recommended. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased online on the museum’s website.

Proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the Channel Islands Maritime Museum.

2025 Rock the Collection Summer and Fall Concert Series in Oxnard in August and September

The Collection at Riverpark in Oxnard is hosting its Rock the Collection Free Concert Series this year on designated Thursday nights, 6:30-8PM at Collection Park. The series will feature everyone’s favorite rock and pop classics performed by popular tribute bands.

Santa to the Sea Half Marathon, Quarter Marathon and 5K in Oxnard on Sunday, December 14, 2025

The Santa to the Sea Half Marathon, Quarter Marathon and 5K is planned for Sunday, December 14, 2025

The half marathon begins at the giant Santa located at 2801 Ventura Blvd., Oxnard and ends at Marine Emporium Landing in the Channel Islands Harbor. The half marathon and 5K start at 7:30am and the quarter marathon starts at 7:50am. There’s also a Kids 1K at 8:30am.

This point to point course starts at the historic Santa Claus, off the 101 freeway, runs through Oxnard’s famous strawberry fields, then through downtown Oxnard and beautiful Plaza Park. Next will be historic Candy Cane Lane, where the homes are decorated for the holidays. Finally, you’re off to the Pacific Ocean, the beach, and finishing at the Marine Emporium Landing in the Channel Islands Harbor.

Santa to the Sea supports the Nyeland Acres community through food distributions, a toy giveaway, and scholarships to Oxnard College.
