Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

Thursday, December 4, 2025 5 to 9 p.m. at Plaza Park
Join this six-decade tradition and watch as Ventura County's tallest Christmas tree light up the sky. This year’s event will also include gourmet food trucks and a special holiday makers’ market. More info at 805-247-0197.

Oxnard Christmas Parade

Saturday, December 6, 2025, 10 a.m. to noon in Downtown Oxnard
Come enjoy colorful marching bands, equestrian units, local school groups, spirited floats at the annual Oxnard Christmas Parade!  Parade route goes from A & 9th Streets to west on 5th, to north on C Street, and ending at 2nd Street.

19th Annual Holly Trolley Tours

Dates for this year’s Holly Trolley Tours are 12/16, 12/17 and 12/18. More details TBA.

Christmas Tree Lane Drive-Through

December 14th through 26th, 2025. Nightly displays from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., F & G Streets between 5th & Palm. Drive through Ventura County’s largest holiday light display in the Henry T. Oxnard National Historic District. Residents provide all holiday decorations and lighting.

Christmas at the Ranch with Santa at the Camarillo Ranch House on December 2-3, 2025

The Camarillo Ranch presents its annual Christmas at the Ranch on December 2 and 3, 2025 from 5-8pm.

Give your family the gift of a beautifully unique Christmas experience by visiting Camarillo’s very-own historic landmark, magically transformed for the holiday season. Join the Camarillo Ranch Foundation for a special historic home tour of Adolfo Camarillo’s 1892 Queen Anne Victorian Mansion plus the 1905 Red Barn transformed into Santa’s Workshop. 2025 Camarillo Christmas Parade and Santa's Village on Saturday, December 13th

Pleasant Valley Recreation & Park District presents the 63rd Annual Camarillo Christmas Parade and Santa’s Village on Saturday, December 13, 2025.

Bring the family to cheer on local bands, equestrian groups, floats, and Santa! The parade starts at Las Posas and Temple Ave. and ends at the Community Center. The parade begins at 10 a.m. and lasts 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Santa's Village is 10am- 2pm at the Community Center, 1605 Burnley St. There will be holiday shopping, food trucks, live music, photos with Santa, and other free activities.

Santa to the Sea Half Marathon, Quarter Marathon and 5K in Oxnard on Sunday, December 14, 2025

The Santa to the Sea Half Marathon, Quarter Marathon and 5K is planned for Sunday, December 14, 2025

The half marathon begins at the giant Santa located at 2801 Ventura Blvd., Oxnard and ends at Marine Emporium Landing in the Channel Islands Harbor. The half marathon and 5K start at 7:30am and the quarter marathon starts at 7:50am. There’s also a Kids 1K at 8:30am.

This point to point course starts at the historic Santa Claus, off the 101 freeway, runs through Oxnard’s famous strawberry fields, then through downtown Oxnard and beautiful Plaza Park. Next will be historic Candy Cane Lane, where the homes are decorated for the holidays. Finally, you’re off to the Pacific Ocean, the beach, and finishing at the Marine Emporium Landing in the Channel Islands Harbor.

The 5K and kids 1K starts and finishes at the Marine Emporium Landing.

Santa to the Sea supports the Nyeland Acres community through food distributions, a toy giveaway, and scholarships to Oxnard College.

48th Annual Ventura Harbor Holiday Parade of Lights and Fireworks on December 13-14, 2024

Ventura Harbor celebrates the season with its 48th Annual Holiday Parade of Lights and Fireworks on Friday, December 13th and Saturday, December 14th, 2024, starting at 6:30 pm. This year's theme is “Candy Land.”

The two-day fun filled event includes a carnival, seaside shopping and dining followed by the lighted boat parade at 6:30 pm. Parking and admission are free. Fireworks at 8pm! (weather permitting)

Kids’ rides, carnival games and food vendors on the Harbor Village main lawn available starting at 4 pm. Faux snowfall and LED performers along the Harbor Village promenade at 5:30 p.m.

Night in Bethlehem Event in Thousand Oaks on December 13 to 15, 2024

Night in Bethlehem is a live nativity event to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ at 1600 Erbes Road, Thousand Oaks on Friday, December 13th through Sunday, December 15th, 2024. Shows every 30 minutes from 5:45 PM to 8 PM.

The town is an outdoor interactive Town of Bethlehem. The show is an outdoor live musical nativity. The reception is in an indoor area with live music and refreshments. Please bring canned food donations for Manna and Pantry Plus.

HOLIDAY SING-A-LONG - DECEMBER 8, 2024

Join the City of Westlake Village and The Shoppes at Westlake Village at the annual Holiday Sing-Along on Sunday, December 8, 2024 from 3-6pm. This event will be held in the Fountain Courtyard next to Tifa and Crumbl Cookies at The Shoppes, 30770 Russell Ranch Road. 

There will be caroling and live music, a performance by the Franklin Haynes Marionettes at 4:45pm, holiday giving drive for Casa Pacifica, raffle prizes, kids’ arts and crafts, photo booth, hot cocoa, face painting, and more.

The 74th Annual Santa Paula Christmas Parade is planned for Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 6:30pm

Marching bands, toy soldiers, floats, automobiles, equestrians, community groups and Santa Claus will be part of the festivities.

Parade will be run rain or shine, eastbound on Main Street from Seventh St to Mill St.

18th Annual Simi Community Christmas Creche Exhibit on December 6-8, 2024

International Creche Exhibit & Music Performances

The 18th Annual Simi Community Christmas will take place this year Friday, December 6th through Sunday, December 8th, 2024 from 5:30 pm to 9 pm on Friday, 6-8:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday, featuring International Creche Exhibit and Music Performances.

Simi Community Christmas is an admission-free, inter-faith, three-day event featuring nativity displays from around the world and nearly 20 performances by local choirs, musicians, dancers as well as performances by our local schools.

Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony event will take place near the old Mission San Buenaventura on Friday, Dec. 6 from 5pm-8pm. Live music starts at 5pm. Santa arrives at 6:55pm, followed by the tree lighting. Snowfall in downtown at 7:05pm! Free event open to the public.
