Channel Islands Harbor celebrates the 4th of July with a full day of family activities. The Harbor will host a variety of activities throughout the day, ending with the annual Fireworks by the Sea starting at 9 p.m., which can be viewed from anywhere in the Harbor.

Festivities begin with the 18th Annual Channel Islands Harbor 10K Race & 5K Fun Run/Walk along Sunset Lane, Hollywood Beach. Registration and check-in are at 7 a.m., followed by the 10K & 5K races starting together at 8 a.m. 

After the race, fun for the whole family begins at Marine Emporium Landing. There will be activities between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m., including a crafters’ market, inflatable fun zone, a rock climbing wall and food booths.

At 6 p.m., more than 50 patriotic themed electric boats will cruise around the Harbor in the 4th Annual 4th of July Electric Boat Parade. The parade is being put on by Central Coast Electric Boats and the Channel Islands Yacht Club.

The City of Moorpark presents its 3rd of July Fireworks Extravaganza on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 (yes...the day before the 4th) at Arroyo Vista Park, 4550 Tierra Rejada Road, Moorpark. Gates open at 3:45 p.m. Festivities start at 4:00 p.m. Admission is $5 per person; children 4 and under are free. Cash only.

For safety reasons: No BBQs, alcohol, smoking, vaping, fireworks, animals/pets (except service animals) and motorhomes/oversize vehicles are allowed at event.

Our family has attended this event a number of times in the past and we love it. Low key, family friendly fun. Bring your lawn chairs, picnic baskets and blankets.

6th Annual Fireworks Spectacular Show in Westlake Village on Thursday, July 4, 2019

The 6th Annual Fireworks Spectacular Show will be presented by the City of Westlake Village on July 4, 2019. The fireworks will be fired from the Westlake Village Golf Course at 9:10 pm all the show will run 18 minutes.

The fireworks will be the grand finale to an afternoon of family-friendly activities at the Westlake Village Golf Course Driving Range and parking lot. 4th of July entertainment and activities will begin at 6:00 pm and end at 9:30 pm. The gates at the golf course will open at 5:00 pm and at 6:00 pm at Calvary.

Food truck meal options will be available for purchase. Outside alcohol is not allowed into the venue due to state regulations but will be available for purchase. Seating and picnicking will be available on the Westlake Village Golf Course Driving Range. The event is free and open to the public. Viewing locations are available at Calvary Community Church, Westlake Village Inn, Westlake Village Golf Course Driving Range, Berniece Bennett Park and surrounding areas.

Parking will be available at Calvary Community Church, Berniece Bennett Park, and the former hospital property. Valet parking is available at the Westlake Village Inn. Parking is not permitted on Agoura Road. Additional free parking is available near Brent's Deli in the parking lot that covers 2799-2835 Townsgate Road and the Westlake Park Place parking lots by 2915, 2931, 2945, 3027 and 3011 Townsgate Road. Please note that only open parking spaces are for public parking - any parking spaces marked reserved are not available to the public. Please follow the signage on Townsgate Road to locate these lots. 

2019 City of Calabasas 4th of July Fireworks, Fun Runs, Splash Party and Pet Show

The City of Calabasas will proudly host the community’s annual 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular at Calabasas High School on Thursday, July 4, 2019. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. and fireworks show begins at 9:00 p.m. The family-oriented, fun-filled event will feature live music, a family fun zone and the grand fireworks display! 

Tickets must be purchased in advance and are available at City Hall (100 Civic Center Way) starting June 1 and at the Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center (23400 Park Sorrento) and Juan Bautista De Anza Park (3701 Lost Hills Road) until July 4. The event usually sells out in advance of July 4th.

The $10 admission price includes parking, entertainment and all activities.  Children under 2 years of age are admitted free. Picnic items permitted (no bottles or open containers).  Food & drinks available for purchase on site: barbecue, sausages, roasted corn, kettle corn, snow cones & more. The Fireworks Spectacular is an alcohol and tobacco free zone. No bottles, pets or umbrellas are permitted.

2019 Independence Day Fireworks Display in Santa Barbara on Thursday, July 4th

The City of Santa Barbara will once again co-host the annual Independence Day fireworks display beginning at 9pm on Thursday, July 4, 2019.

Festivities at the Santa Barbara waterfront and Stearns Wharf (11AM - 9PM), including favorite food vendors, and a music variety show featuring local musicians hosted by John Palminteri and Drew Wakefield, as well as local shops, face painting, and live band, Tequila Mockingbird, on the wharf. End the day with a 9 p.m. fireworks show and music at West Beach, plus the return of the radio simulcast, courtesy of 92.9 KjEE. The show is approximately 20 minutes long and choreographed to classic and current fun and patriotic tunes.

2019 Ojai 4th of July Celebration and Fireworks

Ojai 4th of July Celebration and fireworks show will take place on Thursday, July 4, 2019 at Nordhoff High School Stadium, 1401 Maricopa Highway, starting at 6 pm (gates open at 5:30 pm). Fireworks will begin at 9:15 pm. Presale tickets for the nighttime event are available at www.4thofjulyinojai.com. $10 adults, $5 for kids, $25 family pass.

Free concert on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, 6 pm at Libbey Bowl featuring the Ojai Band. Apple Pie Contest at 6:30pm.

Other 4th of July Events:

4th of July Parade at 10am (2019 theme “Celebrating our Heritage”)

Youth Freedom Run at 8:45am in front of the Ojai Post Office.

Also on July 4th is a pancake breakfast at Chaparral Auditorium from 7-10am at 414 East Ojai Avenue. Cost is $7 per adult and $5 for kids.

The 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, coordinated by the Conejo Recreation and Park District, The City of Thousand Oaks and other local sponsors, takes place on the hill behind the Hillcrest Center of the Arts in Thousand Oaks.
