Channel Islands Harbor Parade of Frights on Saturday, October 24, 2026

The 6th Annual Parade of Frights at Channel Islands Harbor is a non-competitive, Halloween-themed boat parade scheduled for 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2026.

Prior to the Parade of Frights, a variety of organizations and businesses will be offering Halloween-related events and activities starting at 3 p.m.

2026 Fireworks by the Sea at Channel Islands Harbor on Saturday, July 4th

The 4th of July Celebration at Channel Islands Harbor offers a full day of activities, entertainment, and great food. Come and enjoy exhibits, an artists’ market, children’s rides and games and finish the day with a spectacular fireworks show at 9 p.m. Free event.

Concerts by the Sea is a free concert series at Harbor View Park, 3600 Harbor Boulevard, Oxnard near the Marine Emporium Landing at Channel Islands Harbor on Saturdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Celebration of the Whales Festival at Channel Islands Harbor on Sunday, April 19, 2026

The 27th Annual Celebration of the Whales Festival is planned for Sunday, April 19, 2026 from 11am to 3pm at the Channel Islands Harbor, 3350 Harbor Blvd, Oxnard.

Enjoy activities throughout the Harbor including a community “Paint a Whale” mural project, ocean-themed chalk art, free kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding, a children’s fun zone with bounce houses and carnival games, shopping, and educational booths about whale migration.

Stop by the Channel Islands Maritime Museum, Channel Islands Boating Center, the Channel Islands Harbor Farmers Market, and explore the Gray Whale Migration Trail at Harbor View Park connecting the activity areas.
