Free Movies in the Park will take place once again this summer of 2026 at Reyes Adobe Park, 30400 Rainbow Crest Drive, Agoura Hills, hosted by City of Agoura Hills Community Services. Movies start at dusk.

2026 City of Agoura Hills Summer Concerts in the Park - June through August

The City of Agoura Hills Department of Community Services and the DIY Home Center present the 2026 Summer Concerts in the Park. Concerts are held at 6pm on Sundays and are free of charge. (Suggested donation $2) Food trucks will be on hand.

All concerts will be held at Chumash Park, 5550 Medea Valley Drive, Agoura Hills.

July 5: Disco Inferno (followed by patriotic drone show)

Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station Open House in Agoura Hills on Saturday, May 2, 2026

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department invites the community to the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station Open House on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 1 PM.. Bring the entire family to learn more about the Sheriff's Department through interesting displays and interactive activities. There will also be food vendors, mini horses, community partners on hand, jail tours, and more.

2026 Run for the Rancho 5K Race Series in Calabasas on June 18, 25 and July 2

The Run for the Rancho 2026 Race Series is a 5K race series on the scenic trails at Rancho Las Virgenes, 3700 Las Virgenes Road, Calabasas that will be held on Thursdays, June 18, June 25, and July 2.

The race series supports scholarships for SAMO Fund’s internship restoration programs.

The Kiddie 1K will begin at 6:00 each evening, followed by the 5K Trail/Road run at 6:30 pm.

City of Agoura Hills Public Safety Day on Saturday, May 9, 2026

The City of Agoura Hills Department of Community Services hosts its annual Public Safety Day event on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Fire Station #89, located at 29575 Canwood St. in Agoura Hills.

This free, family-friendly event will feature a helicopter flyover (weather permitting), hands-on CPR training, fire apparatus displays, and the opportunity to explore an open ambulance. Representatives from the Lost Hills Sheriff Station and local CERT teams will also be on site to provide valuable safety information and answer questions from the community.

Guests can enjoy free hot dogs while supplies last, along with a lively Kid Zone featuring a DJ, fun attractions, and activities for children of all ages. Whether you’re interested in learning important safety skills or simply spending a fun day with family and neighbors, Public Safety Day offers something for everyone.

Topanga Banjo-Fiddle Contest and Folk Festival on Sunday, May 17, 2026

The Topanga Banjo Fiddle Contest & Folk Festival will take place on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at King Gillette Ranch, 26800 Mulholland Highway, Calabasas, starting at 9 a.m. Contests begin at 9 a.m. Performances begin at noon. Other activities to include music and dance competitions, jamming, workshops, food trucks, artisan booths and much more.

Tiny Porch Concerts Summer Series May through August at Peter Strauss Ranch in Agoura

The Tiny Porch Concert Summer Music Series is four outdoor concerts held every summer at the iconic Peter Strauss Ranch Theatre in Agoura Hills. There is one show per month, starting in May on Mother’s Day. This series is a must for any music lover that appreciates quality, original live music where artists travel from all over the country to perform.

The shows not only entertain, they also educate our audience about the park, its plants and wildlife. Peter Strauss Ranch is a unique theatre with a rich history of entertaining. Our community plans to keep it that way!

If you like the series and want to support but are not a sponsor or VIP donor, you can still help. There are donation boxes at every show, or you can donate by clicking on the “Donate” button at the bottom of the home page. Organizers are always looking for volunteers to help with each production. Tiny Porch Concerts is a non-profit 501c3 dedicated to the artists and the local National Parks that hold our concerts. All proceeds are donated to the Santa Monica Mountains Fund.
