2026 Seaside Movie Nights at Ventura Harbor Village on August 22 and September 19

Save the date for Summer Seaside Movie Nights, August 22 and September 19, starting after sunset at Ventura Harbor Village Main Lawn, 1583 Spinnaker Drive in Ventura. Plan to arrive early to enjoy live DJ or bands, and grab dinner and dessert at one of the Village's seaside restaurants. Movie-goers are encouraged to bring blankets and low chairs.

2026 Ojai Film Society Free Summer Film Series at Libbey Bowl July 2 to August 27

The Ojai Film Society announces the return of its Summer Series, presented by Hotel El Roblar. The 2026 series runs weekly in July and the 2nd half of August.

Conejo Recreation and Park District presents free Movies at the Park at Thousand Oaks Community Park, 2525 N. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks this summer. Movies start at sundown. Family activities start an hour before the movie. Bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnic dinner. FREE!

2026 Regal Theaters Summer Movie Express ($1 Movies) in Thousand Oaks, Camarillo and Simi Valley June 1 to August 13

Regal Theaters presents its Summer Movie Express 2026. Moviegoers of all ages can climb aboard to enjoy a great selection of films. During the summer, select Regal Cinemas, United Artists and Edwards Theatres will offer selected G or PG rated movies for only $1 on Monday through Thursday at designated time frames. Summer Movie Express 2026 runs June 1 to August 13.

Wild and Scenic Film Festival in Ventura on Saturday, August 22, 2026

Ventura Land Trust’s annual benefit, the Wild & Scenic Film Festival, returns on Saturday, August 22, 2026 to Majestic Ventura Theater (NEW LOCATION), 26 South Chestnut Street, Ventura. The festival takes place from 1-7PM, with film showings at 2PM (family-focused matinee) and 7PM.

The film festival features nearly two hours of environmental and activism films indoors, and a community street festival outdoors.
