AMC Dine-In Thousand Oaks 14 and other AMC theatres are hosting $3 movies on Mondays and Wednesdays at 11am and 2pm for its Summer Movie Camp, June 23 to August 13, 2025. The lineup is as follows:

2025 Regal Theaters Summer Movie Express ($1 Movies) in Thousand Oaks, Camarillo and Simi Valley

Regal Theaters presents its Summer Movie Express 2025. Moviegoers of all ages can climb aboard to enjoy a great selection of films. During the summer, select Regal Cinemas, United Artists and Edwards Theatres will offer selected G or PG rated movies for only $1 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at designated time frames. Summer Movie Express 2025 runs June 10 to August 6.

Participating local theaters include Regal Janss Marketplace in Thousand Oaks, Regal Edwards Camarillo Palace Stadium 12, 680 Ventura Boulevard, and Regal Simi Valley Civic Center Stadium 16 at 2751 Tapo Cyn Road. Showtimes vary by theater.

Wild and Scenic Film Festival in Ventura on Saturday, August 23, 2025

Ventura Land Trust’s annual benefit, the Wild & Scenic Film Festival, returns on Saturday, August 23, 2025 to the expansive lawn of the Ventura County Credit Union headquarters, 2575 Vista Del Mar Drive, Ventura. The film festival features nearly two hours of environmental and activism films along with live music, food trucks, drinks, raffle, auction, kids’ activities and more.

A family-friendly event, participants are encouraged to spread out on chairs and blankets. Doors open at 5 pm, and films begin around 7:30 pm as the sky darkens.

A general admission ticket is $40, $5 children and $10 for teens (13-17), plus processing fees. VIP tickets, which include special gift items and admission to the Ventura Vibe VIP Lounge, are $125 plus fees. Tickets and more information at www.venturalandtrust.org/wild-scenic-film-festival.

The City of Moorpark presents Movies in the Park at Arroyo Vista Community Park, 4550 Tierra Rejada Road. Movies begin at dusk. Gates open an hour prior. Bring lawn chairs, blankets, and enjoy the movie. Vendors available, or bring your own snacks. No animals allowed (except service animals). Free admission.
