2026 Regal Theaters Summer Movie Express ($1 Movies) in Thousand Oaks, Camarillo and Simi Valley June 1 to August 13

Regal Theaters presents its Summer Movie Express 2026. Moviegoers of all ages can climb aboard to enjoy a great selection of films. During the summer, select Regal Cinemas, United Artists and Edwards Theatres will offer selected G or PG rated movies for only $1 on Monday through Thursday at designated time frames. Summer Movie Express 2026 runs June 1 to August 13.

Participating local theaters include Regal Janss Marketplace in Thousand Oaks (11:30am screenings), Regal Edwards Camarillo Palace Stadium 12, 680 Ventura Boulevard (11am screenings), and Regal Simi Valley Civic Center Stadium 16 at 2751 Tapo Cyn Road (11am).

Rancho Simi Recreation & Park District Movies in the Park in June, July and August

The Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District presents free Movies in the Park this summer of 2026 Pre-movie fun activities start at 6:30PM. Movies start at dusk. Bring blankets and chairs.

  • Friday, June 12: A Minecraft Movie (pre-movie crafts and scavenger hunt) at Rancho Madera Community Park, 556 Lake Park Drive, Simi Valley (Wood Ranch)

  • Saturday, July 11: Dive-In Movie at the Rancho Pool, 1765 Royal Avenue. Gates open at 6pm. Movie at dusk. $7 admission. Movie: “Rango”

  • Friday, August 7: The LEGO Batman Movie at Rancho Madera Community Park, 556 Lake Park Drive, Simi Valley (Wood Ranch)

Additionally, there will be a free screening of “The Greatest Showman” at Oak Canyon Community Park, 5600 Hollytree Drive, Oak Park, on Friday, June 19th.

2025 Kids Summer Movie Series at Plaza Stadium 14 in Oxnard and Roxy 11 in Camarillo June 18 to August 13

The 2025 Kids Summer Movie Series will take place at the Plaza Stadium 14, 255 West Fifth Street, Oxnard and Roxy Stadium 11, 5001 Verdugo Way, Camarillo. Series will consist of 9 weeks of movies for only $3 per film. Movies are at noon (Oxnard) and 10am (Camarillo) on Wednesdays. The lineup is:

2024 Free Movies at Warner Park in Woodland Hills, Saturday Nights in August

The Valley Cultural Center hosts Free Movies at Warner Ranch Park, 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills again this year on Saturday evenings in August. Grab your blankets, lawn chairs, family, and friends and settle down for free family entertainment.

Films will be presented on a 30-foot professional theatrical screen with digital projection, surround-sound, and high-resolution digital picture.  Parking available at 21800 Califa Street, between Topanga and Owensmouth. Parking fees are a donation to Valley Cultural Foundation.
