Malibu Cars and Coffee Event on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of Each Month


The City of Malibu, in conjunction with Armamdo Petretti Classic Cars, invites you to Malibu Cars and Coffee. Southern California's top car enthusiasts will enjoy a beautiful drive down the coast to meet at Malibu Bluffs Park, 24250 Pacific Coast Highway, from 7am to 9am.

Enjoy a cup of coffee at "Malibu Cars and Coffee" while admiring some of the world's finest automobiles at an unbeatable location with gorgeous views of Malibu's coastline. Cars will arrive and be available for viewing at 7 am. Visit for more information.

The Malibu Country Mart to celebrate Halloween with costume contest, trick-or-treating and plenty of pumpkins

“Maliboooo” Country Mart celebrates Halloween with a variety of festive activities for children and families on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from noon to 3 p.m. Ghosts and gals can enjoy trick-or-treating from noon – 2 p.m. at selected shops. The Mart will be decked out in festive autumn and Halloween décor like pumpkins and hay bales to create the ultimate autumn atmosphere. Children and families should head over to the Jester Court for the children’s costume contest at 2 p.m. Malibu Country Mart is located at 3835 Cross Creek Road, Malibu.

2019 City of Malibu Annual Halloween Carnival at Malibu Bluffs Park on Friday, October 25th

The City of Malibu's annual Halloween Carnival and Movie will take place at Malibu Bluffs Park, 24250 Pacific Coast Highway, on Friday, October 25, 2019 from 3pm to 5:30pm. Admission is free.

11th Annual Ride to the Flags to Pepperdine University on Saturday, September 8th, 2018

NOTE: Ride organizers have announced that they are taking a break from the Ride in 2019 to focus its efforts on serving the needs of wounded warriors. However, they indicate the event will be back in 2020.

Ride to the Flags began in 2008, accompanying the Wave of Flags 9/11 Memorial at Pepperdine University. Although not officially associated with the collegiate memorial - the ride does end at the memorial for a short service. Ride to the Flags is an all volunteer, charity ride with 100% of the riders' donations going to charity.

This year's ride will be on Saturday, September 8, 2018.

Last year's event went from Naval Base Ventura County, Pt. Mugu and finishing at Malibu Bluffs Park, adjacent to Pepperdine University's annual 9/11 memorial at Alumni Park. Check-in from 8:30am to 10am. Event starts at 10 am with a memorial ceremony, followed by the ride at 10:30am down PCH and a rally at Bluffs Park. Registration and additional details at

Fireball Tim's Wheels & Waves Classic Car Event in Malibu 3rd Sunday of Month


Malibu Country Mart is the official host of vintage and exotic car meet-up, Fireball Tim’s Wheels and Waves. The ongoing event series is the third Sunday of most months. Hours are 7-9 am.

38th Annual Malibu Chili Cook-Off on August 30 to September 2, 2019

The 38th Annual Malibu Chili Cook-Off will take place on Labor Day weekend, August 30th to September 2nd, 2019 at 23575 Civic Center Way. Hosted by the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu.

Hours as follows:

  • Fri 8/30: 1-10PM

  • Sat/Sun 8/31-9/1: 11AM-10PM

  • Mon 9/2: 11AM-8PM

2019 Permitted 4th of July Fireworks Displays in Malibu

The City of Malibu does NOT host an Independence Day fireworks display but the LA County Fire Department issues permits for professional fireworks displays to be launched from barges off the Malibu coast each year. 

As of July 2nd, the following permits have been issued for 2019 fireworks displays:
