We Crawl This Town - So Cal 5K and Beer Mile Relay in Camarillo on June 13, 2026

We Crawl This Town- So Cal 5k and Beer Mile Relay is planned for June 13, 2026 at 3841 Mission Oaks Boulevard, Camarillo at 8 a.m.

Starting with the widely popular beer send off toast (21+ runners only), you will embark on a fast and flat course starting and finishing from Institution Ale Company in Camarillo. Along the way you will run a significant portion of your race on the beautiful bike path over looking the Calleguas Creek before ultimately finishing back at the brewery and joining a beer sampling event and live music.

If running the 5K, be sure to stick around for the beer 1 mile relays where teams go head to head in a one of a kind race format.

2026 Independence Day Fireworks Display in Santa Barbara on Saturday, July 4th

The City of Santa Barbara is hosting its annual Independence Day fireworks display beginning at 9pm on Saturday, July 4, 2026 off West Beach.

From noon to 8:45pm there will be live music at the West Beach bandstand. From 11am to 9pm, enjoy food and vendor booths on the Cabrillo Boulevard Sidewalk at West Beach.

Radio simulcast on 92.9 KjEE (92.9 FM) or watch a livestream of the fireworks show at KEYT.com. The show is about 20 minutes long.

Wild and Scenic Film Festival in Ventura on Saturday, August 22, 2026

Ventura Land Trust’s annual benefit, the Wild & Scenic Film Festival, returns on Saturday, August 22, 2026 to Majestic Ventura Theater (NEW LOCATION), 26 South Chestnut Street, Ventura. The festival takes place from 1-7PM, with film showings at 2PM (family-focused matinee) and 7PM.

The film festival features nearly two hours of environmental and activism films indoors, and a community street festival outdoors.

39th Annual A Taste of Camarillo Wine, Brew and Food Festival on July 26, 2026

A Taste of Camarillo - Wine, Brew & Food Festival will take place on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at the Camarillo Ranch, 201 Camarillo Ranch Road, Camarillo, from noon to 4:30 pm.

This is perhaps the longest running wine, brew and food festival in Ventura County. Guests spend an afternoon sampling fine wines, craft beers and gourmet foods on the grounds of the historic Camarillo Ranch. Sample fine wines and local restaurants, enjoy live music and dancing, boutique shopping and more. 21+ only event. No children or pets allowed.

2026 Bulldog 50K and 25K Runs in Malibu Creek State Park on Saturday, August 15th

The challenging and popular Bulldog runs consist of two races - the 25K Bulldog Trail Run and the 50K Bulldog Ultra Run, which are conducted simultaneously (though the 50K starts an hour earlier - at 7 am.). This year’s event is on Saturday, August 15, 2026.

Run in the beautiful scenic Santa Monica Mountains Recreational Area beginning at base camp in Malibu Creek State Park.

The course offers inspirational vistas of untamed terrain and sweeping ocean views. The challenging trail weaves through the mountains on single track and fire roads.

2026 City of Calabasas 4th of July Activities

The City of Calabasas is hosting the following activities on Saturday, July 4, 2026:

The Lakeside Fun Run is presented by the Calabasas Park Homeowners Association at the Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center. Events begin at 7:45 am and include 4 and 2 mile runs, 2 mile walk and 1/4 mile races for youth 12 and under. Register at calabasasrec.org.

Summer Splash Party at the Tennis & Swim Center, 2300 Park Sorrento, on July 4th from noon–5:30 pm. Spend the day poolside. There will be games, prizes, music and more. Outside food is permitted - coolers, ice chests, glass bottles, alcohol are prohibited. Free admission.
