2025 City of Calabasas 4th of July Activities

The City of Calabasas is hosting the following activities on Friday, July 4, 2025:

The Lakeside Fun Run is presented by the Calabasas Park Homeowners Association at the Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center. Events begin at 7:45 am and include 4 and 2 mile runs, 2 mile walk and 1/4 mile races for youth 12 and under. Register at calabasasrec.org.

Annual 4th of July Pet Show at 11 am on the Lakeside greenbelt adjacent to the Calabasas Tennis and Swim Center, 23400 Park Sorrento. Free admission. No registration required.

Summer Splash Party at the Tennis & Swim Center, 2300 Park Sorrento, on July 4th from noon–5:30 pm. Spend the day poolside. There will be games, prizes, music and more. Outside food is permitted - coolers, ice chests, glass bottles, alcohol are prohibited. Free admission.

4th of July Fireworks Spectacular Event at Janss Marketplace on Friday, July 4, 2025

The public is invited to the best FREE Conejo Valley July 4th community celebration and fireworks viewing at Janss Marketplace. The event, which begins at 5 p.m., features live music, children’s entertainment, and food booths. The patriotic holiday celebration finale fireworks at 9 p.m. are presented by the Conejo Recreation and Park District and City of Thousand Oaks.

Entry is free to the July 4th event activities and fireworks viewing area on the rooftop at Janss Marketplace, located at 275 North Moorpark Road East in Thousand Oaks. Bring folding chairs and arrive early to ensure access to the shopping center’s rooftop event area.

TWO NEW TICKET OPTIONS THIS YEAR in addition to free general admission:

  • Free Admission (as in prior years) - wristband and rooftop access at 5pm; wristband pickup at fountain area

  • $10 (plus fees) Early Bird Access - wristband access at 3pm at the fountain area, 4pm access to rooftop deck, kids four and under are free

  • $40 (plus fees) Reserved Ticket - wristband access at 3pm in the fountain area, 4pm access to rooftop deck, access to reserved area, catering, high-top tables, space for lawn chairs and blankets; kids 4 and under free

Valley Cultural Foundation’s Free Concerts at Warner Park in Woodland Hills - June 15 to August 24, 2025

Valley Cultural Foundation’s Free Concerts at Warner Park take place on Sunday evenings from June 15 to August 24, 2025 (except the Sunday after 4th of July). All concerts start at 5:30 PM with Emerging Artists Opening Act performances. Headliners will follow shortly after and end at 8 PM.

Located at the Nora Ross Bandshell at the Lou Bredlow Pavilion at 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills. There is plenty of room for a late afternoon picnic with the family while being entertained by headline performers.

Ojai 4th of July Celebration and Fireworks on Friday, July 4, 2025

Ojai 4th of July Celebration and fireworks show will take place on Friday, July 4, 2025 at the Nordhoff High School Stadium, 1401 Maricopa Highway, starting at 6 pm (gates open at 5:30 pm). Fireworks will begin at 9:15 pm. Presale tickets for the nighttime event will be available at www.4thofjulyinojai.com. Prices $13 (plus fees) adults, $6 (plus fees) for kids, $30 (plus fees) family of 4 pass. (pre-sale)

2025 4th of July Celebration at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley on Friday, July 4th

Come help us commemorate the 250th anniversary of the birth of the United States and the signing of the Declaration of Independence that will kick off this year on July 4th and will conclude on the actual 250th birthday – July 4, 2026. The anniversary is known as “A250.” This year’s July 4th A250 inspired event will include a program with our Founding Father Presidential-reenactors, a special performance by the Los Robles Children’s Choir, and a large group patriotic photo with all of our July Independence Day guests.

Enjoy live music by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Band and country artist Justin Honsinger, along with appearances by Iwo Jima re-enactors and presidential look-alikes. Family-friendly activities include face painting, crafts, lawn games, carnival picnic games, and Presidential Bingo with prizes. Event begins at 10 a.m. All outdoor activities are free. Regular admission applies to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Museum, Air Force One Pavilion, and the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit.

Santa to the Sea Half Marathon, Quarter Marathon and 5K in Oxnard on Sunday, December 14, 2025

The Santa to the Sea Half Marathon, Quarter Marathon and 5K is planned for Sunday, December 14, 2025

The half marathon begins at the giant Santa located at 2801 Ventura Blvd., Oxnard and ends at Marine Emporium Landing in the Channel Islands Harbor. The half marathon and 5K start at 7:30am and the quarter marathon starts at 7:50am. There’s also a Kids 1K at 8:30am.

This point to point course starts at the historic Santa Claus, off the 101 freeway, runs through Oxnard’s famous strawberry fields, then through downtown Oxnard and beautiful Plaza Park. Next will be historic Candy Cane Lane, where the homes are decorated for the holidays. Finally, you’re off to the Pacific Ocean, the beach, and finishing at the Marine Emporium Landing in the Channel Islands Harbor.

Santa to the Sea supports the Nyeland Acres community through food distributions, a toy giveaway, and scholarships to Oxnard College.

2025 Reyes Adobe Days "RAD" 5K on Sunday, October 5, 2025

The Reyes Adobe Days RAD Run 5K is planned for Sunday, October 5, 2025 at 8am. The race will take place on a (previously certified) flat and fast course, starting and ending at the Whizin Market Square in Agoura Hills. Custom medals awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place age group winners. Age groups: 13 & Under, 14-19, 20-29 30-39,40-49,50-59,60-69,70 & over.

Not only will participants have the opportunity to test their speed and endurance, but they will also be supporting a great cause. This year, percentage of the proceeds from the race will benefit the Malibu/Lost Hills Search and Rescue Team.
