2025 Kids Summer Movie Series at Plaza Stadium 14 in Oxnard and Roxy 14 in Camarillo June 18 to August 13

The 2025 Kids Summer Movie Series will take place at the Plaza Stadium 14, 255 West Fifth Street, Oxnard and Roxy Stadium 14, 5001 Verdugo Way, Camarillo. Series will consist of 9 weeks of movies for only $3 per film. Movies are at noon on Wednesdays. The lineup is:

2025 Conejo Recreation & Park District Summer Concerts in the Park - May through September

Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and picnics, then sit back and relax to the sounds of summer! The Conejo Recreation & Park District Summer Concerts in the Park is back again in 2025.

Jackets or sweaters are recommended as the weather often cools during the latter part of the event. Concert-goers are asked to leave pets at home. Concerts are FREE and open to the public.

Location: Conejo Community Park, 1175 Hendrix Avenue, Thousand Oaks
(off Gainsborough Road, at the intersection of Dover and Hendrix Avenues)

Time: All concerts begin promptly at 5:00pm and conclude at 7:00pm. Parking is offsite only; onsite parking is limited and reserved for cars with handicap placards.

34th Annual Ventura County Juneteenth Freedom Day Celebration in Oxnard on Saturday, June 21, 2025

Ventura County’s 34th Annual Juneteenth Celebration is planned for Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 10am to 5pm at Plaza Park, 500 South C Street in Oxnard. Free event commemorates Juneteenth, also known as Emancipation Day or Freedom Day, marking the June 19, 1865 announcement of the abolition of slavery in the U.S. Event to feature live music, local artists, great food and more. 2025 Run for the Ranch 5K Race Series at Paramount Ranch on June 18, 25 and July 2

The Run for the Ranch 2025 Race Series is a 5K race series on the scenic trails at Paramount Ranch that will be held on Wednesdays, June 18, June 25, and July 2.

The series is hosted by Fleet Feet Agoura Hills and the Future Track Running Pack and co-sponsored by the Santa Monica Mountains Fund (SAMO Fund) and Western Bagel. The race supports scholarships for SAMO Fund’s internship restoration programs.

Join in on an evening of free entertainment and listen to Kenny Metcalf - Elton John, The Early Years, on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Oak Canyon Community Park, 5600 Hollytree Drive, Oak Park at 6:30pm.

A free shuttle is provided to and from the Oak Park Community Center.

Touch-A-Truck at Thousand Oaks Community Park on Saturday, June 14, 2025

The Conejo Recreation & Park District’s 2025 Touch-A-Truck will be held on Saturday, June 14th, from 10:00am-2:00pm at Thousand Oaks Community Park, 2525 N. Moorpark Rd. in Thousand Oaks.

This popular event allows kids to have fun kicking the tires, honking the horns, and climbing up into the driver’s seat of their favorite trucks and construction vehicles such as a garbage truck, an Army truck, tractor, excavator, dump truck, school bus, fire engine, ambulance, bulldozer, police cruiser, SWAT vehicle, K-9 and search and rescue vehicles, motorcycles, and more.

In addition to dozens of trucks and vehicles of all shapes and sizes, there will be fun activities, including arts and crafts, a kids’ construction zone, jolly jumps, and a motorized train ride. The parking lot fills up quickly, so be prepared to park at the Thousand Oaks High School parking lot. Admission is free for all ages. For information, visit www.crpd.org/truck
