2025 Summer Concerts in the Park in Moorpark - June to September

The City of Moorpark is hosting Summer Concerts in the Park at Arroyo Vista Park, 4550 Tierra Rejada Road. Free admission! Concerts start at 6 p.m. Gates open an hour prior.

The Lineup:

  • June 28: Electric Vinyl (Classic Rock)

  • July 26: Yachty by Nature (Yacht Rock)

  • August 23: Juano and Friends (Rock, Cumbia, Oldies, R&B)

  • September 27: The Spazmatics (80s)

Bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit in the grass and enjoy the music.  Food vendors will be onsite, but you are welcome to bring outside food and beverages (beer and wine okay, no hard alcohol). No canopies or umbrellas will be allowed within 100 feet of the stage. No animals allowed in the event space except service animals.

Walk to End Alzheimer's - Ventura is slated for Saturday, October 4, 2025 at the Ventura Harbor Village Main Lawn, 1591 Spinnaker Dr Ventura.

2025 Happy Face Music Festival in Simi Valley on Saturday, May 24th

The 4th Annual Happy Face Music Festival in Simi Valley takes place on Saturday, May 24, 2025 from noon to 7pm at Rancho Santa Susana Community Park, 5005 E. Los Angeles Avenue in Simi Valley.

A spectacular day of live music and entertainment in the community known for its famous happy face.

Grab your blankets and lawn chairs and get ready to bask in the sun, surrounded by breathtaking hilltop views at the Happy Face Festival in Simi Valley. Satisfy your hunger cravings with delicious eats from the area’s best food truck vendors and quench your thirst with a cold beverage in hand. 2025 Matilija Poppy Festival at Conejo Valley Botanic Garden in Thousand Oaks on May 18th

Malibu Chili Cook-Off (2025 Event Cancelled)

THE 2025 MALIBU CHILI COOK-OFF CANCELLED DUE TO THE CHALLENGES FACING MALIBU IN WAKE OF THE 2025 WILDFIRES.

The 2024 Annual Malibu Chili Cook-Off took place on Labor Day weekend, August 30 to September 2 at 23575 Civic Center Way. Hosted by the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu.

ADVANCE TICKET SALES ONLY! TICKETS WILL NOT BE SOLD ONSITE. Tickets at malibuchilicookoff.org.. Carnival tickets will be sold separately.

Event hour are 4-10PM Friday, 1-10PM Saturday/Sunday and 1-8PM Monday.

Annual Huck Finn Fishin' Derby at Rancho Simi Community Park on Saturday, May 3, 2025

The Annual Huck Finn Fishin’ Derby is scheduled for Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Rancho Simi Community Park, 1765 Royal Avenue, Simi Valley from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.. Kids ages 15 and under will be hooked on fishing fun while scanning the water for the biggest and best fish to catch. The derby will be held along the banks of the two-and-one-half acre lake at Rancho Simi Community Park. Parents are advised to bring their children to the lake as early as possible to ensure a great spot. For safety reasons, no spinners/lures allowed. The lagoon will be stocked with over 1,500 pounds of fish before the event.

The Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District presents free Movies in the Park at Rancho Madera Community Park, 556 Lake Park Drive, Simi Valley (Wood Ranch). Pre-movie fun activities start at 6:30PM. Movies start at dusk. Bring blankets and chairs.
