2025 Ventura 4th of July Street Fair and Children's Pushem-Pullem Parade

The City of Ventura 4th of July Street Fair will be back on Friday, July 4, 2025 along Main Street from Fir Street to Ventura Avenue as well as side streets Chestnut, Oak and California.

The street fair features over 100 arts and crafts booths, live entertainment, food trucks, a car exhibit, and family-friendly activities. Open 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The event is free to the public.

The 47th Annual Children’s Pushem - Pullem Parade is at 10 a.m.  Assemble at Cemetery Park at Main and Crimea Streets at 9:30 a.m.  The parade proceeds down Main Street to Fir Street at 10 a.m.

THE 2025 MALIBU CHILI COOK-OFF CANCELLED DUE TO THE CHALLENGES FACING MALIBU IN WAKE OF THE 2025 WILDFIRES.

The 2024 Annual Malibu Chili Cook-Off took place on Labor Day weekend, August 30 to September 2 at 23575 Civic Center Way. Hosted by the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu.

Easter Sunrise Service at Pierce Brothers Westlake Village on Sunday, April 20, 2025

Easter sunrise services are offered to the general public by Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks-Griffin Memorial Park on April 20, 2025 beginning at 6:00 a.m. The service takes place in the parking lot of the main building at 5600 Lindero Canyon Road in Westlake Village. This is a nondenominational service and is sponsored by the Conejo Valley Interfaith Association.

There will be live music, light refreshments, and a beautiful dove release.

Father's Day Car Show at Channel Islands Harbor on Sunday, June 15, 2025

The Father’s Day Car Show at Channel Islands Harbor on Sunday, June 15, 2025 from 10 am to 3 pm will feature an eclectic mix of custom cars, hot rods, low riders, motorcycles and classics. It is the perfect day to show off your rides and reconnect with friends and family. Also on hand will be food trucks, raffle, music and numerous vendors.

Proceeds for the event will benefit Food Share of Ventura County.

This car show is open to all solo riders, car clubs and all vehicle types, including motorcycles.

In addition to the car show at Harbor View Park on Father’s Day, the Channel Islands Maritime Museum will also be hosting a Father’s Day Celebration event, which will feature classic cars and boats.

The Moorpark Field of Valor is a patriotic tribute honoring all Veterans and Active Duty Military personnel for their dedication and service to our nation, preserving our security, our independence, and our freedom. Flags will be proudly be displayed, each dedicated in honor of a friend or family member.

The proceeds from the Moorpark Morning Rotary’s Field of Valor event will go to various non-profit organizations that provide direct support to local veterans and the families of our deployed military.

Spring "Conejo" Hunt at the Stagecoach Inn Museum Newbury Park on Saturday, April 19, 2025

Spring “Conejo & Easter” Hunt & Festival on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 1-4PM.

Hop on over to the Stagecoach Inn Museum and bring the kids and grandchildren to hunt for “conejos,” while the whole family enjoys exploring historic structures and interacting with costumed docents. A map is included with admission for marking bunny sightings to be turned in for a prize in this frolicking outdoor hunt around the beautiful museum grounds.

Our Conejo Hunt this year will send “kids” of all ages hunting for several numbered metal art “Conejos” made by blacksmith Bobby Mensinger and there will be new baby animals to look for this Spring to add to the fun... ducklings, chicks, and of course, baby bunnies.

Have your picture taken with our resident Easter Bunny and we’ll have crafts and “bunny” sack races and frolicking about to the sweet sounds of a local live band.
