38th Annual Ojai Wine Festival at Lake Casitas on Saturday, June 20, 2026

The 38th Annual Ojai Wine Festival is the longest running wine festival in Ventura County. Overlooking scenic Lake Casitas in the Ojai Valley, The Ojai Wine Festival is an idyllic venue to taste award winning wines, amazing craft beers, fine spirits, ciders, kombucha and spiked seltzers. A bountiful selection of wineries and craft breweries will be represented along with a tempting selection of gourmet food trucks selling delicious culinary cuisine. Patrons can shop to their heart’s delight among the arts and crafts booths. Bid on the Silent Wine Auction featuring fine wines, private tasting parties, VIP tours of wineries, artisan crafts and much more.

Admission includes unlimited tastes of wine, beer and spirits, a keepsake crystal wine glass, live band/lakeside dance floor, shop at the fine artisan vendors & gourmet food trucks & bid on the silent auction. Limited to 2500 people.

24th Annual Margarita MixOff & More in Thousand Oaks on Thursday, September 24, 2026

The 24th Annual Margarita MixOff and More, presented by Soroptimist International of the Conejo, is planned for Thursday, September 24, 2026 at The Gardens at Los Robles Greens in Thousand Oaks from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Tickets are $55 in advance and $65 at the event. Admission gets you tickets to taste margaritas and appetizers. Beer, wine and soft drinks included. Ages 21+ only.

Mark your calendars for the 49th Annual Thousand Oaks Chili Cook-Off, Car Show & Craft Brew Festival on Sunday, May 3, 2026. Held from noon – 5pm (11:00 am entry for VIP tickets), this family friendly extravaganza will take place at Conejo Creek Park North at Janss Rd & Hwy 23 in Thousand Oaks.

There will be over 40 chili tasting booths – and included with your general admission is free unlimited chili tasting. Returning again is the popular Craft Brew Festival – an event within an event – with a multitude of participating breweries! There will also be a Classic & Custom Car Show in several style and vintage categories and live music on two stages. Also on hand will be over a dozen food trucks and beverage booths and a free kids’ fun zone.

Inaugural Conejo Cottontails 5K Color Run in Thousand Oaks on Sunday, May 3, 2026

The Arts Council of the Conejo Valley (ACCV) is proud to present the Inaugural Conejo Cottontails Color Run on Sunday, May 3, 2026—an all-day celebration in support of Conejo Public Art. Children under 6 are free. Tickets for children aged 7-17 are $29.00. Adults are $49.00. CLU Students are only $19.50. Get a great gift bag with a T-shirt, sunglasses, color powder, and an amazing coloring book.

The festivities begin on Memorial Field at California Lutheran University and take you on a journey past KCLU and around the campus. The Conejo Cottontails Color Run is an untimed Walk | Run | Ride | Hop event that starts at 10AM with a 5K Walk | Run around the area. The beautiful campus route will bring you to Memorial Field to join in the color celebration. Individuals and families can join the fun by picking up their Cottontail gift bag at Memorial Field between 8AM and 10AM and embarking on the self-guided map tour around the CLU campus. Meet back at Memorial Field at 11AM for the color celebration.

After the color celebration, an art sale and ACCV Jubilee will be held, with booths from ACCV member organizations showing off art for sale. Meet some of artists and member organizations that provide visual and performing arts in the Conejo Valley.

The 2026 Annual Malibu Chili Cook-Off is planned for Labor Day weekend, September 4-7 at 23575 Civic Center Way. Hosted by the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu.

Summer Car Show in Downtown Oxnard on Sunday, July 26, 2026

The Summer Classic Car Show, co-hosted by the Downtown Oxnard Improvement Association and the All-for-One Car Club, is planned for Sunday, July 26, 2026 in Downtown Oxnard. Over 400 classic and specialty autos from all eras will be on display along a four-block stretch of Historic “A” Street in Downtown Oxnard. The event is free to the viewing public.

In addition to awesome autos on display, there will be live entertainment, and Downtown merchants will be offering food specials. Plenty of free parking will be available on adjacent streets, public lots and the 3rd Street Parking Structure.

$40 advance registration for show cars required. Professional judging with prizes in many categories. Proceeds benefit the Historic Downtown Oxnard Beautification Fund.

Conejo Valley CROP Hunger Walk on Sunday, March 22, 2026

The Conejo Valley CROP Hunger Walk takes place on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at the Cal Lutheran University Sports Complex in Thousand Oaks.  CROP Walks help raise awareness and funds for international relief and development, as well as for for local hunger related charities. 

When CROP began in 1947 (under the wing of Church World Service, which was founded in 1946), CROP was an acronym for the Christian Rural Overseas Program. Its primary mission was to help Midwest farm families to share their grain with hungry neighbors in post-World War II Europe and Asia.

The CROP Hunger Walk is 4 miles through the community near CLU. There will also be a 20 minute campus stroll; a guided tour of the CLU campus. Registration is from 12-1:00 PM and the walk begins at 1pm. Registration is free; donations accepted. 32nd Anniversary Love Run 5K/10K/1 Mile Run in Westlake Village on June 7, 2026

The Senior Concerns 32nd Anniversary Love Run, presented by Logix, is planned for Sunday, June 7, 2026 in Westlake Village. The races start and finish at 3011 Townsgate Road.

Runners and walkers can participate in a 10K, 5K or one-mile fun run. It is the perfect event for the entire family. Virtual run is also available.

This annual event supports Senior Concerns’ Meals On Wheels Program, which helps ensure homebound seniors do not go without food. Senior Concerns has been delivering Meals On Wheels since its founding in 1975. Senior Concerns delivers more than 6,000 meals per month to homebound seniors in Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, and Oak Park.

26th Annual Pooch Parade Dog Walk and Pet Expo in Oxnard on Sunday, September 13, 2026

Canine Adoption and Rescue League (C.A.R.L.) will host its 26th Annual Pooch Parade at a NEW location this year on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will take place at the beautiful 'olołkoy Beach Park, 1601 S. Harbor Blvd, in Oxnard.

In addition to a fun walk, the event will feature entertainment, education, a large vendor fair, and the opportunity to meet adoptable dogs looking for a fresh start.

The non-profit C.A.R.L. has rescued thousands of dogs since 1996.
