The City of Agoura Hills presents the 22nd Annual Reyes Adobe Days October 2-4, 2026 at Reyes Adobe Park & Historical Site, 30400 Rainbow Crest Drive, Agoura Hills.

The event lineup includes:

11th Annual Labor Day Tractor Fair at the Santa Paula Agriculture Museum on Monday, September 7, 2026

40th Annual California Avocado Festival in Carpinteria, October 2-4, 2026

The 40th Annual California Avocado Festival takes place October 2, 3, and 4, 2026 in downtown Carpinteria on Linden Avenue.

Festival hours 1pm to 11pm Friday (Locals Only Block Party - open to all), 11am to 10pm Saturday and 11am to 6pm Sunday.

Five07 Turkey Day Dash 5K and Zack Zernik Mile in Thousand Oaks on Thursday, November 26, 2026

Five07 presents the 2026 Turkey Day Dash on Thanksgiving Thursday, November 26, 2026. Register for the 5K road race or the Zack Zernik Mile (untimed run/walk) at Memorial Field at Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, 60 West Olsen Road.

Proceeds from the event will benefit three local non-profits - Hospice of the Conejo, Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks Foundation and Scouting America Ventura County Council. Since 2023, the Dash has raised over $200,000 for local charities.

The Zack Zernik Mile is named for a Conejo Valley native and lifelong “Dasher” who lost his life in January 2023 at the age of 22. Zachary “Zack” Zernik, a graduate of Thousand Oaks High School, was climbing near Mount Boney outside Newbury Park when he lost his footing and fell. 

The Zack Zernik Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to two high school students. Winners will be announced before the start of the mile. To apply, go to turkeydaydash.org/zack-zernik-scholarship.

Festivities start at 7 am. The Zack Zernik Mile begins at 8 am, followed by the 5K at 8:30 am.

45th Annual Wings Over Camarillo Airshow on August 15-16, 2026

The Camarillo Wings Association will host the 2026 Wings Over Camarillo Air Show with support from volunteers from the Southern California Wing of the Commemorative Air Force, EAA Chapter 723 and the Ventura County 99s.

The event will take place August 15 and 16, 2026 at the Camarillo Airport. Gates open at 9am. Aerial performances run from noon to approximately 4pm. The theme of the 2026 event is “Celebrating 90 Years of the DC-3 - A Legend That Changed the World.”

The air show includes aerobatic performances from classic warbirds from the CAF, military aircraft, experimental aircraft, and more. On the ground will be a classic car show, aircraft display models, food vendors, craft beer, interactive STEM Pavilion, and more.

This event will feature a unique tribute to our military veterans that includes a recreation of wartime air combat with stunning pyrotechnics of fire and controlled explosions.  Military aircraft, past and present, will be on display for an up-close and personal one-of-a-kind experience.  This year, visitors can enjoy a Flight Line Preview from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and the pilots and crew will be on hand to answer any questions and talk about the unique history of the aircraft.

152nd Anniversary Ventura County Fair to Take Place July 29 to August 9, 2026

The 2026 Ventura County Fair will take place July 29 to August 9 at the Ventura County Fairgrounds, 10 W. Harbor Boulevard in Ventura.

The fair features arts, crafts, food, exhibits, displays, demonstrations, farm animals, petting zoo, carnival rides, games and entertainment. More information at www.VenturaCountyFair.org.

Regular admission: Ages 13-64 $20, Ages 6-12 $15, Ages 65+ $15, Ages 0-5 free. Add $1 for credit card purchase.

Parking at the Ventura County Fair is $20.00 per car. Parking at the Fairgrounds is limited. Free shuttle buses are provided from the Ventura Government Center, Pacific View Mall, Ventura Community Park, Ventura High School and San Buenaventura State Beach (with $10 parking fee). The Simi Valley Police Explorer Program hosts its 14th Annual Cops N' Cruisers Car Show on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at the Simi Valley City Hall & Library, 2929 Tapo Canyon Road, Simi Valley, from 9am to 2pm. The 29th Annual Fall Harvest Festival returns at Underwood Family Farms, 3370 Sunset Valley Road in Moorpark, starting Saturday, September 26 to Saturday, October 31, 2026. The farm will transform into a giant Pumpkin Patch, Pick Your Own & Fall Harvest experience filled with games, rides, photo opportunities, live entertainment, themed weekends, bands and more.
