Mark your calendars for the free Janss Marketplace Summer Concerts every Wednesday from June 25 through August 6 (except there is no concert on July 2). Concerts are 6-8PM.

No reservations or tickets needed. Limited free seating provided at the outdoor concerts.

2025 Sun Sets Summer Concert Series on Sunday Nights at Calabasas Lake - June to August

Spend your summer Sundays with great live music at the 2025 Summer Sun Sets Concert Series at Calabasas Lake

The traditionally private Calabasas Lake opens its doors to concert goers, providing a scenic backdrop and ample field seating for picnickers. The public is encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and sweaters. Some fixed seating is available on a first come first served basis. All performances are free to the public.

Camarillo Old Town Friday Night Car Cruise - 4th Fridays March through October 2025

The Camarillo Old Town Friday Night Cruise is back for 2025 on the 4th Friday of the month from March through October from 4-7 p.m.

2025 dates: March 28, April 25, May 23, June 27, July 25, August 22, September 26 and October 24

Drive down Ventura Boulevard with your classic car to the Studio Channel Islands Art Center at 2222 Ventura Boulevard. There will also be vendors, face painting and music in addition to the 200+ anticipated classic cars to see. Try some local takeout by supporting the Camarillo Old Town eateries with their pre-order and/or take-out options.

Butterflies Alive! Exhibit at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History Open May 24 to September 1, 2025

The Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History opens its popular summer exhibit Butterflies Alive! on Saturday, May 24, 2025 and will be open until September 1st.

Guests are invited to walk through a serene garden while nearly 1,000 live butterflies flutter freely around them. Various butterfly species cycle through the Sprague Butterfly Pavilion during the summer, so no two visits are the same.

The exhibit requires $3 tickets in addition to regular admission and is open daily, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Last entry into the pavilion is at 4:30 PM. Reservations are recommended at sbnature.org/tickets. Admission to the museum is $19 for ages 18-64, $17 for 65+ and 13-17, $14 for ages 2-12 and free for toddlers under age 2.

2025 Heritage Square Summer Concert Series on Friday Nights, June 13 to August 22

Oxnard's Heritage Square Summer Concert Series returns in 2025 for another 10 week run, from June 13th to August 22nd. Concerts start at 6pm and end at 8:30pm, with a half hour break at 7pm.

Concert tables can be reserved in advance for a fee. Individual tickets will be available day of show starting at 5pm for $10. Unreserved spots on the lawn available free of charge (donations appreciated). More details at www.heritagesquareoxnard.com/concerts.html.

Beachfront Run Half Marathon, 10K, 5K & Kids Run in Ventura on Saturday, June 7, 2025

The Ventura Beachfront Run (1/2 Marathon, 10K, 5K & Kids Fun Run) will take place on Saturday, June 7, 2025 with a scenic course along the beautiful coastline.  The race will begin on the north side of the Ventura Pier, 668 Harbor Boulevard. 

The half marathon and 10K runs along the oceanfront promenade and extends along PCH, creating a flat and scenic course.  The 5K runs out and back along the oceanfront promenade.  Half marathon starts at 7 am. More information and registration at runsignup.com/Race/Info/CA/Ventura/CIBeachfrontRun.

2025 Ventura 4th of July Street Fair and Children's Pushem-Pullem Parade

The City of Ventura 4th of July Street Fair will be back on Friday, July 4, 2025 along Main Street from Fir Street to Ventura Avenue as well as side streets Chestnut, Oak and California.

The street fair features over 100 arts and crafts booths, live entertainment, food trucks, a car exhibit, and family-friendly activities. Open 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The event is free to the public.

The 47th Annual Children’s Pushem - Pullem Parade is at 10 a.m.  Assemble at Cemetery Park at Main and Crimea Streets at 9:30 a.m.  The parade proceeds down Main Street to Fir Street at 10 a.m.

Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks-Griffin Memorial Park at 5600 Lindero Canyon Road in Westlake Village will host its 34th Annual Memorial Day event on May 26, 2025 in honor of those who have proudly served our country. This event is free and open to the public. There will be beautiful music, a band, and a flyover.
