The 28th Annual Rods & Roses Car Show is planned for 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, June 28, 2025 in downtown Carpinteria. Following the car show is the annual Carpinteria Independence Parade at 3:30 pm. https://rodsnroses.com
The 2025 City of Westlake Village 4th of July Parade on Friday, July 4th will line up at 9:30 AM and proceed down the decorated four block route soon thereafter.
Participants are encouraged to decorate their bike, scooter, skateboard, or wagon in patriotic colors and join the City of Westlake Village for this wonderful patriotic celebration! Residents are also welcome to cheer participants on from the side of the parade route.
The event begins at the corner of Lakeview Canyon Road and Agoura Road and marches down the four-block Agoura Road route to Berniece Bennett Park.
The LA Donut Truck will be serving donuts and coffee before the parade. There will be food trucks at Berniece Bennett Park, along with inflatable jumpers, face painting, activity booths and more.

A Memorial Day Ceremony will take place on Monday, May 26, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Plaza Park, 500 South C Street, Oxnard. The community is welcome to join the ceremony in remembrance for those who lost their lives while serving in the U.S. Armed Services.
The City of Moorpark presents Movies in the Park at Arroyo Vista Community Park, 4550 Tierra Rejada Road. Movies begin at dusk. Gates open an hour prior. Bring lawn chairs, blankets, and enjoy the movie. Vendors available, or bring your own snacks. No animals allowed (except service animals). Free admission.

Summer evenings in Westlake Village provide the perfect backdrop for a great entertainment series. The annual TGIF Westlake Village series offers families a series of free performances at the Westlake Village Civic Center, 31200 Oak Crest Drive. Events start at 7 pm, with food available for purchase from a variety of great food trucks at 6pm.

Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks-Griffin Memorial Park at 5600 Lindero Canyon Road in Westlake Village will host its 34th Annual Memorial Day event on May 26, 2025 in honor of those who have proudly served our country. This event is free and open to the public. There will be beautiful music, a band, and a flyover.
