City of Thousand Oaks Pop-Up Arts & Music Festival Every Friday/Saturday, June 6 to June 28

The City of Thousand Oaks brings its annual Pop-Up Arts & Music Festival to the city every Friday and Saturday starting June 6 and running through the month of June.

The festival features “pop-up” public performances at various locations throughout Thousand Oaks. The goal of the festival is to provide residents with an opportunity to actively participate in and enjoy the arts without having to come to the theatre. People are encouraged to bring their own chair/blanket, food and drink and come enjoy great entertainment on a summer evening.

The 2025 festival will feature eight free events over four weekends from June 6 - June 28. In partnership with local arts organizations, the festival will include local and regional artistic talent, in addition to nationally recognized performing artists.

Concerts at the Plaza is a free Saturday evening concert series at the Simi Civic Center Plaza on Tapo Canyon Road off the 118 in Simi Valley, in the Regal Cinema Plaza Food Court. Concerts run from 6-9pm. Emmy-winning comedian Mark DeCarlo (Hugh Neutron, Sale of the Century) will be hosting trivia contests, cracking jokes, and giving away exciting prizes throughout the summer! The 23rd Annual Margarita MixOff and More, presented by Soroptimist International of the Conejo, is planned for Thursday, September 25, 2025 at The Gardens at Los Robles Greens in Thousand Oaks from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Tickets are $55 in advance and $65 at the event. 2025 Conejo Recreation & Park District Summer Concerts in the Park - May through September

The 2021 concert series will NOT look like this concert a couple years ago. This year’s concert series will be socially distanced and will require advance ticket purchases.

Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and picnics, then sit back and relax to the sounds of summer! The Conejo Recreation & Park District Summer Concerts in the Park is back again in 2025.

Jackets or sweaters are recommended as the weather often cools during the latter part of the event. Concert-goers are asked to leave pets at home. Concerts are FREE and open to the public.

Location: Conejo Community Park, 1175 Hendrix Avenue, Thousand Oaks
(off Gainsborough Road, at the intersection of Dover and Hendrix Avenues)

Time: All concerts begin promptly at 5:00pm and conclude at 7:00pm. Parking is offsite only; onsite parking is limited and reserved for cars with handicap placards.

2025 Run for the Ranch 5K Race Series at Paramount Ranch on June 18, 25 and July 2

The Run for the Ranch 2025 Race Series is a 5K race series on the scenic trails at Paramount Ranch that will be held on Wednesdays, June 18, June 25, and July 2.

The series is hosted by Fleet Feet Agoura Hills and the Future Track Running Pack and co-sponsored by the Santa Monica Mountains Fund (SAMO Fund) and Western Bagel. The race supports scholarships for SAMO Fund’s internship restoration programs.
