2026 Happy Face Music Festival in Simi Valley on Saturday, May 23rd

The 5th Annual Happy Face Music Festival in Simi Valley takes place on Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 10:30am to 7pm at Rancho Santa Susana Community Park, 5005 E. Los Angeles Avenue in Simi Valley.

A spectacular day of live music and entertainment in the community known for its famous happy face.

Malibu Chili Cook-Off on September 4-7, 2026

The 2026 Annual Malibu Chili Cook-Off is planned for Labor Day weekend, September 4-7 at 23575 Civic Center Way. Hosted by the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu.

ADVANCE TICKET SALES ONLY! TICKETS WILL NOT BE SOLD ONSITE. Tickets will be available at malibuchilicookoff.org. Carnival ride tickets will be sold separately.

Easter Sunrise Service at Pierce Brothers Westlake Village on Sunday, April 5, 2026

Easter sunrise services are offered to the general public by Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks-Griffin Memorial Park on April 5, 2026 beginning at 6:00 a.m. The service takes place in the parking lot of the main building at 5600 Lindero Canyon Road in Westlake Village. This is a nondenominational service and is sponsored by the Conejo Valley Interfaith Association.

There will be live music, light refreshments, and a dove release.

Rancho Simi Recreation & Park District hosts an Earth Day event on Friday, April, 24, 2026 from 3:30-5:30pm at Atherwood Park, 2271 Alamo St, Simi Valley. Event to include park beautification planting, a take home flower project, vendors and other activities.

2026 Ventura 4th of July Street Fair and Children's Pushem-Pullem Parade

The City of Ventura 4th of July Street Fair will be back on Saturday, July 4, 2026 along Main Street from Fir Street to Ventura Avenue as well as side streets Chestnut, Oak and California.

The street fair features over 100 arts and crafts booths, live entertainment, food trucks, a car exhibit, and family-friendly activities. Open 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The event is free to the public.

The 48th Annual Children’s Pushem - Pullem Parade is at 10 a.m.  Assemble at Cemetery Park at Main and Crimea Streets at 9:30 a.m.  The parade proceeds down Main Street to Fir Street at 10 a.m.

The Moorpark Field of Valor is a patriotic tribute honoring all Veterans and Active Duty Military personnel for their dedication and service to our nation, preserving our security, our independence, and our freedom. Flags will be proudly be displayed, each dedicated in honor of a friend or family member.

The proceeds from the Moorpark Morning Rotary’s Field of Valor event will go to various non-profit organizations that provide direct support to local veterans and the families of our deployed military.

A company or individual can sponsor or purchase flag(s) (3ft x 4ft) honoring a deceased veteran friend or family member.

The Moorpark Field of Valor event on Memorial Day will include color guards, bagpipes and a moving tribute to our community’s latest fallen hero. Throughout the event various guest speakers, concerts and singers will provide an exciting and magnificent tribute to our deceased veterans.
