33rd Annual Thousand Oaks Rotary Street Fair on Sunday, October 19, 2025

The 33rd Annual Thousand Oaks Rotary Street Fair will take place on Sunday, October 19, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Moorpark Road between Hillcrest and Wilbur Road in Thousand Oaks, in between Janss Marketplace and Best Buy. Plenty of parking in the adjacent shopping centers and streets.

The Thousand Oaks Rotary Street Fair continues this great event with over 19,000 expected attendees and over 300 vendor booths.

Featuring artisans specializing in hand-made products and a Kids Fun Zone with games, crafts, jumpers, soft drinks and pizza. Live music and entertainment too. Free admission!

Howl-O-Ween Event at Mission Oaks Dog Park in Camarillo on Saturday, October 25, 2025

Bring your dog in their scariest, funniest, most original costume – or even do matching costumes with your dog, to Howl-O-Ween at Mission Oaks Park, 5501 Mission Oaks Boulevard, Camarillo (in the off leash area) on Saturday, October 25, 2025 from 10am to 1pm. Free admission. No registration necessary. Dog costume contest, best trick contest, pet vendors, raffles, other fun doggie activities and food trucks will be on hand (or paw).

Dogs are to be kept on a leash with a leash length not exceeding 6 feet. Owners must follow dog park rules and regulations.

Mission Oaks Dog Park is an off-leash dog park, but for special events such as Howl-O-Ween, leashes are required.

Dogs may be off-leash in the designated area to perform in the best trick contest and must be back on a leash immediately following their trick.

Santa Paula Labor Day Parade, Monday, September 1, 2025

The Santa Paula Labor Day Parade will be held on Monday, September 1, 2025 at 10 AM on Main Street in Santa Paula.

The parade is sponsored by the Santa Paula Labor Day Parade Committee, the Rotary Club of Santa Paula and the City of Santa Paula.

Walking groups with banners, musical groups, floats, workers riding in work-related vehicles, equestrians, and all groups representing a Labor Day theme are invited to participate. The parade starts at 7th and Main Street and ends at the gazebo at Santa Barbara and Mill.

Ponies by the Sea Car Show at Channel Islands Harbor on Sunday, October 12, 2025

The Ponies by the Sea Car Show will be held at Harbor View Park at Channel Islands Harbor, 3600 Harbor Blvd., Oxnard on Sunday, October 12, 2025 from 10am to 3pm.  Mustangs and other Ford powered vehicles are welcome to enter. Proceeds from the show to benefit the Guide Dogs of America and Tender Loving Canines. Food trucks and vendors will be on hand. There will also be food trucks, music, games and more.

Annual Ojai Day Event Planned for Saturday, October 18, 2025

Ojai Day is an annual downtown street fair from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. planned for Saturday, October 18, 2025. Over 100 vendors, local original art and jewelry, dance performances, great food, kids' activities, crafts demonstrations, classic cars, health, wellness and spiritual demonstrations and much more.

The event was originally conceived in 1917, took a hiatus in the 1920’s and has been back with a vengeance since 1993. It’s grown tremendously and has become one of the most popular events in Ojai. The event itself celebrates life, culture and the arts.

Ojai Day was first celebrated in the 1920's after glass magnate Edward Libbey offered to finance the construction of the downtown Arcade, present day Libbey Park and the post office with its 65-foot bell tower. Ojai's most prominent citizens decided to host a city wide celebration to show their appreciation to Libbey. Thus, Ojai Day was born.

The name Ojai comes from the Chumash language and means “The Moon” or “Bird’s Nest.”

They will immerse themselves in the festive warmth of the holidays as they stroll through 60 artisan shops showcasing their wares, sample an array of authentic fresh European foods and baked goods, and enjoy a warm mug of mulled wine "Gluhwein", Kinderpunsch or specialty crafted brews.

After you’ve strolled through the marketplace, explore the Festive Garden, where you’ll enjoy local live seasonal entertainment and an array of traditional fresh European faire and baked goods. Children of all ages will be enchanted when they visit Kris Kringle’s Village! Capture a magical moment with Kris Kringle and Mrs. Kringle, festive Samantha the Holiday Stiltwalker or hop aboard the Village Train Art Trek.
