2025 Camarillo Community Band Summer Concerts in the Park on Thursdays, July 10 to July 31

The Camarillo Community Band's 2025 Summer Concert Series is planned at Constitution Park, Carmen Drive at Paseo Camarillo on July 10, 17, 24 and 31.

Performances will start at 7:00pm (and end at approximately 8:30 pm). Free admission. Bring chairs, blankets and picnic dinners while enjoying the show.

Presented by the Pleasant Valley Recreation and Parks District, the 2025 conductors are:

  • Bob Hackett, Music Director at Agoura High School (July 10),

  • Stephen Morman, Doctoral Student, University of Southern California (July 17),

  • John McQuilkin, retired instrumental music teacher from Quartz Hill High School (July 24).

Concerts by the Sea is a free concert series at Harbor View Park, 3600 Harbor Boulevard, Oxnard near the Marine Emporium Landing at Channel Islands Harbor on Saturdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

25th Annual Thousand Oaks Rotary Wine & Beer Festival on Sunday, August 24, 2025

The Thousand Oaks Rotary Foundation will celebrate the 24th Annual Thousand Oaks Rotary Wine & Beer Festival on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 1-4PM at the Westlake Yacht Club, 32119 Lindero Canyon Road, Westlake Village. Since its inception, the event, for adults ages 21 and up, has raised over $600,000 to benefit the Ventura County Special Olympics and the Thousand Oaks Rotary Foundation which supports many local charities and provides student educational scholarships.

Special Olympics Ventura County offers free year-round sports training and athletic competition to over 700 children and adults with intellectual disabilities in 10 Olympic style sports at over 20 county sites.

The Thousand Oaks Rotary Foundation has been a major supporter of the Special Olympics and has enabled over 10,000 athletes to compete. The club also donates more than $175,000 each year to many local and international charities to foster social, cultural, economic, and environmental progress.

2025 Hueneme Beach Festival Planned for July 12-13

The City of Port Hueneme presents the Hueneme Beach Festival the weekend of July 12-13, 2025. Hours are 11am to 8pm both days.

Event will feature live music on two stages, great food and drinks, children’s activities, carnival rides, vendors, high school band competition, Hueneme Beach Wrestling Tournament, and more.

2025 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular and Other Fun Events in Thousand Oaks

The 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, coordinated by the Conejo Recreation and Park District, The City of Thousand Oaks and other local sponsors, takes place on the hill behind the Hillcrest Center of the Arts in Thousand Oaks. Fireworks start at 9 p.m., with a great view from Janss Marketplace and The Oaks mall parking lots and surrounding areas!  Patriotic music simulcast by KHAY 100.7 FM.

The Kiwanis Club of Simi Valley presents the Star-Spangled Rock & Country Jam and Fireworks Celebration on Friday, July 4, 2025 at Rancho Santa Susana Community Park, 5005 E. Los Angeles Avenue. Gates open at 3pm. City of Thousand Oaks Pop-Up Arts & Music Festival Every Friday/Saturday, June 6 to June 28

The City of Thousand Oaks brings its annual Pop-Up Arts & Music Festival to the city every Friday and Saturday starting June 6 and running through the month of June.

The festival features “pop-up” public performances at various locations throughout Thousand Oaks. The goal of the festival is to provide residents with an opportunity to actively participate in and enjoy the arts without having to come to the theatre. People are encouraged to bring their own chair/blanket, food and drink and come enjoy great entertainment on a summer evening.

The 2025 festival will feature eight free events over four weekends from June 6 - June 28. In partnership with local arts organizations, the festival will include local and regional artistic talent, in addition to nationally recognized performing artists.
