The 4th Annual Holidays in the Village, A European Marketplace, which celebrates the warmth and joy of the holiday season--all with a European flair, will take place Saturday, December 6th from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Oaks parking lot (W. Wilbur Rd. and W. Thousand Oaks Blvd.) in Thousand Oaks.

The Rotary Club of Westlake Village presents the community an opportunity to experience a traditional European winter festival with us at Holidays in the Village, A European Marketplace. They will immerse themselves in the festive warmth of the holidays as they stroll through 60 artisan shops showcasing their wares, sample an array of authentic fresh European foods and baked goods, and enjoy a warm mug of mulled wine "Gluhwein", Kinderpunsch or specialty crafted brews.

After you’ve strolled through the marketplace, explore the Festive Garden, where you’ll enjoy local live seasonal entertainment and an array of traditional fresh European faire and baked goods. Children of all ages will be enchanted when they visit Kris Kringle’s Village! Capture a magical moment with Kris Kringle and Mrs. Kringle, festive Samantha the Holiday Stiltwalker or hop aboard the Village Train Art Trek. Try face painting and an old world Village Bear Scavenger hunt for all to enjoy. The French Quarter offers a touch of your favorite French delights - champagne, mimosas, freshly baked croissants, delectable pastries and more. Proceeds support local nonprofits.

Five07 Turkey Day Dash 5K and Zack Zernik Mile in Thousand Oaks on Thursday, November 27, 2025

Five07 presents the 2025 Turkey Day Dash on Thanksgiving Thursday, November 27, 2025. Register for the 5K road race or the Zack Zernik Mile (run/walk) at Memorial Field at Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, 60 West Olsen Road.

Proceeds from the event will benefit three local non-profits - Hospice of the Conejo, Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks Foundation and Ventura County Council of Boy Scouts.

The Zack Zernik Mile is named for a Conejo Valley native and lifelong “Dasher” who lost his life in January 2023 at the age of 22. Zachary “Zack” Zernik, a graduate of Thousand Oaks High School, was climbing near Mount Boney outside Newbury Park when he lost his footing and fell. 

The Zack Zernik Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to two high school students. Winners will be announced before the start of the mile. To apply, go to turkeydaydash.org/zack-zernik-scholarship.

Festivities start at 7 am. The Zack Zernik Mile begins at 8 am, followed by the 5K at 8:30 am.

2025 Reign of Terror Haunted House in Thousand Oaks September 26 to November 2

Janss Marketplace announces the 2025 dates and ticket sales launch for the 18-night Reign of Terror Haunted House, one of the top ranked immersive haunt attractions in the U.S.  Now entering its 26th annual season, Reign of Terror opens on Friday, September 26th at Janss Marketplace, intersection of Hillcrest Drive and Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks.

The 2025 Reign of Terror contains 142 individual rooms and 11 terrifying, interconnected attractions in over 32,000 sq ft, of floor space.

Once again, this year will feature a “Lights OUT” special event for one night only, on Sunday, November 2nd. Visitors to “Lights OUT” walk through all 142 rooms in total darkness, lit only by one small glow stick per group. It is highly recommended for visitors to come to Lights OUT as their bonus, end of season extra visit, only after visiting Reign of Terror’s regular production where all lighting and special effects run as usual. This will allow visitors of Lights OUT to truly appreciate and enjoy how different it is.

The 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, coordinated by the Conejo Recreation and Park District, The City of Thousand Oaks and other local sponsors, takes place on the hill behind the Hillcrest Center of the Arts in Thousand Oaks. Fireworks start at 9 p.m., with a great view from Janss Marketplace and The Oaks mall parking lots and surrounding areas!  Patriotic music simulcast by KHAY 100.7 FM.

The Kiwanis Club of Simi Valley presents the Star-Spangled Rock & Country Jam and Fireworks Celebration on Friday, July 4, 2025 at Rancho Santa Susana Community Park, 5005 E. Los Angeles Avenue. The Sespe Creek 4th of July Car Show, Chili Cook-Off & Cornhole Tournament will take place in downtown Fillmore on Friday, July 4, 2025 from 9 am to 4 pm.

2025 Independence Day Fireworks Display in Santa Barbara on Friday, July 4th

The City of Santa Barbara is hosting its annual Independence Day fireworks display beginning at 9pm on Friday, July 4, 2025 off West Beach.

From noon to 8:50pm there will be live music at the West Beach bandstand. From 11am to 9pm, enjoy food and vendor booths on the Cabrillo Boulevard Sidewalk at West Beach.

Radio simulcast on 92.9 KjEE (92.9 FM) or watch a livestream of the fireworks show at KEYT.com. The show is about 20 minutes long.

2025 City of Moorpark 3rd of July Fireworks Extravaganza

The City of Moorpark presents its 3rd of July Fireworks Extravaganza on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Arroyo Vista Park, 4550 Tierra Rejada Road, Moorpark. Gates open and festivities - live music, activities, games, food vendors, etc. - start at 4:00 p.m.

Admission: $8 advance purchase or $10 cash at the gate.

Onsite parking $5 - must be purchased in advance.

2025 Fireworks Spectacular in Santa Paula on Friday, July 4th

The City of Santa Paula invites the community to a day of celebration capped by a spectacular Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular at the new Santa Paula Creek Regional Sports Park at Harvest at Limoneira. Festivities kick off in the afternoon from 4-8:30PM and include live music at the amphitheater, food trucks, face painting, lawn games, inflatable jumpers, and the City Corps Wagon Train. The fireworks show begins at 9:00 PM. Admission and parking are free.

The new location offers expanded space and more parking, making it the perfect place to gather with family and friends.

This community celebration is made possible through a partnership between the City and the Santa Paula Rotary Club, which raises funds for the fireworks display. Donations are still needed to support the show and can be mailed to SP Rotary-Fireworks, P.O. Box 809, Santa Paula, CA 93061.
