The 2026 Ventura Marathon and Half Marathon are planned for Sunday, February 22, 2026. The marathon and half marathon are point to point races, starting in Ojai and ending in downtown Ventura. The marathon starts at 6:30am.

The 13th Annual Seaside Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K and 10K is planned for Sunday, June 7, 2026
Start at Solimar Beach, 2808 Pacific Coast Highway, Ventura, along the Rincon and head towards Santa Barbara (north) to the turnaround and back to the start line to complete your first loop. Full marathon is three loops.
Start time: 7am full marathon, 7:15am half marathon, 7:30am 10K, 7:45am 5K

A perennial favorite of the greater Los Angeles area since 1986, the Nature Made Great Race is planned for a return on Saturday, April 11, 2026 in Agoura Hills. The event is an exciting and family-friendly event featuring many race options: Cheseboro Half Marathon, Old Agoura 10K, Deena Kastor 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run.

The Mountains 2 Beach Marathon on Sunday, April 19, 2026 starts in beautiful Ojai at just over 700 ft. and gradually descends to sea-level over 18 miles, finishing near the historic Ventura Pier.
The Mountains 2 Beach Half-Marathon is a fast, beautiful, point to point 13.1 mile course that stars in the town of Oak View down the bike path to Ventura. Also on Sunday is a 10K run.
On Saturday, April 18th, the beachside M2B 5K will take place at San Buenaventura State Beach Park. A Kids 1K will take place at 1pm.

The 13th Annual Holly Jolly Half Marathon, 5K and 10K is planned for Sunday, December 21, 2025 at the Pleasant Valley Soccer Fields, 150 Westpark Ct., Camarillo. Start / Finish will be at the Pleasant Valley Fields Park at the Village At The Park Sports Complex. This course is mostly on the flat Camarillo bike path. No auto traffic to worry about on this course.

The Thanksgiving Day 5K takes place at Rancho Simi Community Park, 1765 Royal Avenue, Simi Valley on Thursday, November 27, 2025.
Run along the Arroyo bike path, lined with beautiful trees for shade through the center of Simi Valley and along the Arroyo Creek. Aid stations every 1.5 miles. Race starts at 8am. This is a rain or shine event.

The 29th Annual Patagonia Salmon Run 5K is planned for Sunday, November 16, 2025 at 8:30 a.m near the Patagonia store in Ventura. This annual event has raised more than $170,000 over the years for environmental non-profits. Learn more at www.patagonia.com/salmon-run.html.

The 2026 Boney Mountain Trail Half Marathon and 7K is planned planned for Saturday, February 7th. The race takes place in Point Mugu State Park, starting at Rancho Sierra Vista/Satwiwa in Newbury Park. Challenging, single track, switchback climbs and descents, creek crossings and climb up the Old Boney trail.

Head to the Ventura Auto Center, 6451 Auto Center Drive, Ventura, on Thursday, November 27, 2025 for the annual Ventura Turkey Trot.
This fast and fun 5K starts at 8 a.m. For the 14 and under crowd, there’s the Kids 1K which starts at 9:15 a.m. Registration includes finisher’s shirt, electronic chip timing and post-race food.

The Ojai Family Fund 3 Mile Fun Run Turkey Trot is planned for 8 a.m. on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at Nordhoff High School in Ojai.
