International Creche Exhibit & Music Performances

The 19th Annual Simi Community Christmas will take place Friday, December 5th through Sunday, December 7th, 2025 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm nightly, featuring an International Creche Exhibit and music performances.

Simi Community Christmas is an admission-free, inter-faith, three-day event featuring nativity displays from around the world and nearly 20 performances by local choirs, bands and ensembles.

Event will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Sinaloa Stake Center, North Foyer, 480 Sinaloa Road, Simi Valley.

14th Annual Autism Society of Ventura County Aut2Run 5K/10K 1 Mile Run Event in Camarillo on Sunday, April 26, 2026

The Autism Society of Ventura County hosts its 12th Annual charity “Aut2Run!” race at California State University Channel Islands on Sunday, April 26, 2026.

The event features a 10K trail run, 5K Run/Walk, 15K "Hero Run" (10K and 5K combined), 1 mile walk/run and a Fun-K. Open to competitive runners, casual walkers, families & the community. Learn more and register at www.aut2run.org.

Proceeds benefit the Autism Society of Ventura County. ASVC is a local chapter of the national Autism Society, a 501c3 not-for-profit organization whose mission is to improve the lives of all affected by Autism. ASVC was founded in 1994 by local parents and educators to provide support groups, community events, information and resources to families and individuals on the Autism Spectrum.

2025 Ventura Winter Wine Walk & Holiday Street Fair on Saturday, December 6th

The Ventura Winter Wine Walk & Holiday Street Fair will take place in downtown Ventura on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 12 pm-8 pm.

The day kicks off with the Holiday Street Fair starting at 12 pm from the Museum of Ventura County through the 600 block of Main Street with vendors and live entertainment. Shop artists, crafters, non-profit organizations, commercial and food vendors. The street fair and entertainment are free and open to the public!

At 4 pm, the Ventura Winter Wine Walk gets started! The wine walk will showcase world class wineries in your favorite downtown businesses. Each guest will receive a tasting cup and a map of the participating tasting sites in downtown Ventura. Each tasting site will have a designated area set up for Wine Walk guests to sample the amazing wines! Wine tasting will end at 7 pm.

The Teaching Zoo at Moorpark College shines bright this holiday season during the “Wild Lights” holiday glow event. Take a self-guided 45 minute stroll throughout the zoo that will be filled with dynamic lights, immersive interactive experiences, photo opps and seasonal enchantment.

2025 Dates: November 26, 28, 29 and December 5, 6, 12, 13, 19-23

Times: 6pm to 8:30pm - Last entry is at 7:45pm

Santa will be visiting from 6-7:30pm on Nov 29, Dec 6, and Dec 13. Take your own pic!

This is a rain or shine event. This is not an animal-centered event; some animals will enjoy the lights, while others will be asleep.

Simi Valley Police Department Touch A Truck Event on Sunday, December 14, 2025

The Simi Valley Police Department is hosting its annual Touch A Truck event on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 9am to 2pm at the Simi Valley City Hall front parking lot, 2929 Tapo Canyon Road. In lieu of admission, please bring new, unwrapped toys to be donated to Operation Blue Christmas.

There will be trucks and equipment on display from the Simi Valley Police Department, Ventura County Fire, Public Works, and various other public and private organizations. Everyone, especially kids will be allowed access to these vehicles and adults will be able to interact with those persons that use the vehicles and equipment.

The purpose of this event is to raise funds to not only support the Holiday Toy Drive, but also to support unfunded programs, services and technology for the Simi Valley Police Department. These include support for the K9 program, "Save a Life" AED program, Police Explores, SWAT, Bicycle Patrol, Every 15 Minutes program, Crime Prevention, Parenting Project, and many other worthy programs.

Veterans Day Celebration & Ceremony at the Stagecoach Inn Museum in Newbury Park on Saturday, November 8, 2025

Wear red, white & blue or your military uniform and join the Stagecoach Inn Museum for Veterans Day on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Docents will honor some of our earliest Conejo Valley pioneers who served. Their service spans the years from the Civil War to the present. Pictures, uniforms, medals, and other regalia will be featured.

Enjoy patriotic music while touring the beautiful museum and grounds, get your picture taken in front of a 10’ by 14’ American flag loaned for this special day of remembrance by volunteer and veteran, Darrell Jones. Children can make crafts, pan for gold, join in a fall critter hunt, and learn the importance of Veterans Day.

Channel Islands Harbor Parade of Frights on Saturday, October 25, 2025

The 4th Annual Parade of Frights at Channel Islands Harbor is a non-competitive, Halloween-themed boat parade scheduled for 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2025.

Prior to the Parade of Frights, a variety of organizations and businesses will be offering Halloween-related events and activities starting at 3 p.m.

3 p.m. to 6 p.m. – Haunted Courtyard at the Channel Islands Maritime Museum

The Channel Islands Maritime Museum’s Haunted Courtyard features a variety of fun, family-friendly activities including a scavenger hunt, arts & crafts, games, prizes, and candy. This event is free and is perfect for all ages.

3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. – Parade of Frights Marketplace (Harbor View Park)

The Channel Islands Farmers’ Market will be hosting an expanded market from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Harbor View Park, located just south of Marine Emporium Landing at 3600 Harbor Blvd.

At the market, the Ventura County Harbor Department will offer reusable Parade of Frights bags to children (while supplies last), each vendor will hand out candy, there will be craft booths for children to create Halloween-themed art, inflatable jump zone, and a costume contest and costume parade. The costume parade starts at 5 p.m. and organizers will be handing out special Halloween-themed medals for all participants.

3 p.m. to 6 p.m. – Wolfsburg Finest VW Club Trunk or Treat (Harbor View Park)

The Wolfsburg Finest VW Club of Oxnard will be hosting a trunk or treat featuring 20–25 cars. This family-friendly activity promises plenty of candy, creative displays, and photo-worthy moments for kids and parents alike.
