Camarillo Old Town Heritage Days Midsummer Block Party takes place July 16 through 20, 2025. Free admission. There will be carnival rides, food trucks, live music, local craft vendors, live music, live art, beer and wine zone, car show (Saturday) and much more. Canine Adoption and Rescue League (C.A.R.L.) will host its 25th Annual Pooch Parade on Sunday, August 24, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Join C.A.R.L. and its adoptable rescue dogs for a day of fun in the sun at Ventura Harbor Village, 1583 Spinnaker Drive in Ventura. This year’s theme is “Rescue Roundup” And if you’re inclined, dress yourself and your pup up in bandanas, cowboy hats, and western wear.
Help support C.A.R.L.’s mission, meet some of its adoptable rescue dogs and enjoy a “biggity” day filled with vendor booths and canine-centered activities.

The Channel Islands Harbor 4th of July Family Parade is back on Friday, July 4, 2025! The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. at Albacore Way, travels north up Harbor Blvd. and ends at Cabezone Circle, home to Marine Emporium Landing.

The Rotary Club of Ventura is hosting its annual Fireworks Show and Family Picnic on Friday, July 4th at the beautiful Ventura College athletic fields.
Gates open at 5 pm with a spectacular fireworks show at 9 pm. The evening also includes live music, food trucks, and a Kids Fun Zone with bounce houses, inflatable attractions and organized games.

America's 249th birthday is Friday, July 4, 2025, but the Stagecoach Inn invites you to a fun celebration with children’s old-time games, crafts, music, prizes and more on Wednesday, July 2nd from 1 to 4PM in celebration of Independence Day and the historical opening of the Grand Union Hotel (aka Stagecoach Inn) in July 1876.
Enjoy free ice cream (while supplies last), craft making and live music while cooling your heels exploring the museum complex both indoors and out.
Visit Timber School and recite the Pledge of Allegiance with children rewarded with a prize, and then follow the dusty trail to Pioneer House and children who can identify one or more traditional 4th of July foods will also win something to take home.
Costumed docents will be demonstrating tools, machinery, gadgets and various “modern conveniences” that households and businesses enjoyed in the mid-late 1800’s and early 1900’s. Some of the items that may be demonstrated include a sausage stuffer, butter churner, miniature sewing machine for travel, iron and laundry equipment, woodworking tools and working blacksmith forge.
“Can you Spot” items will be placed around the property for the kids to find.
The Stagecoach Inn Museum welcomes visitors on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 1:00-4:00 pm. Regular admission is $10 per person; $5 for children 5 to 12. Children under 5 and Conejo Valley Historical Society Members (with membership card) are free.
The 4th of July Celebration at Channel Islands Harbor offers a full day of activities, entertainment, and great food. Come and enjoy exhibits, an artists’ market, children’s rides and games and finish the day with a spectacular fireworks show at 9 p.m. Free event.

The 28th Annual Rods & Roses Car Show is planned for 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, June 28, 2025 in downtown Carpinteria. Following the car show is the annual Carpinteria Independence Parade at 3:30 pm. https://rodsnroses.com
The 2025 City of Westlake Village 4th of July Parade on Friday, July 4th will line up at 9:30 AM and proceed down the decorated four block route soon thereafter.
Participants are encouraged to decorate their bike, scooter, skateboard, or wagon in patriotic colors and join the City of Westlake Village for this wonderful patriotic celebration! Residents are also welcome to cheer participants on from the side of the parade route.
The event begins at the corner of Lakeview Canyon Road and Agoura Road and marches down the four-block Agoura Road route to Berniece Bennett Park.
The LA Donut Truck will be serving donuts and coffee before the parade. There will be food trucks at Berniece Bennett Park, along with inflatable jumpers, face painting, activity booths and more.

The Camarillo Wings Association will host the 2025 Wings Over Camarillo Air Show with support from volunteers from the Southern California Wing of the Commemorative Air Force, EAA Chapter 723 and the Ventura County 99s.
The event will take place August 16 and 17, 2025 at the Camarillo Airport. Gates open at 9am and close at 8pm Saturday and 6pm Sunday. Aerial performances run from noon to approximately 4pm.
The air show includes aerobatic performances from classic warbirds from the CAF, military aircraft, experimental aircraft, and more. On the ground will be a classic car show, aircraft display models, food vendors, craft beer, STEM Pavilion, robotics exhibition, and more.
This 43rd-anniversary event will feature a unique tribute to our military veterans that includes a recreation of wartime air combat with stunning pyrotechnics of fire and controlled explosions. Military aircraft, past and present, will be on display for an up-close and personal one-of-a-kind experience. This year, visitors can enjoy a Flight Line Preview from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and the pilots and crew will be on hand to answer any questions and talk about the unique history of the aircraft.
General admission purchased in advance is $32 per day for adults, $20 for active military with ID and $10 for youth 6 to 16. Under 6 free. Buy tickets in advance to save. Credit cards only accepted at the gate.

The City of Moorpark presents Movies in the Park at Arroyo Vista Community Park, 4550 Tierra Rejada Road. Movies begin at dusk. Gates open an hour prior.
