2026 Sun Sets Summer Concert Series on Sunday Nights at Calabasas Lake - June to August

Spend your summer Sundays with great live music at the 2026 Summer Sun Sets Concert Series at Calabasas Lake

The traditionally private Calabasas Lake opens its doors to concert goers, providing a scenic backdrop and ample field seating for picnickers. The public is encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and sweaters. Some fixed seating is available on a first come first served basis. All performances are free to the public.

Parking available at 2 locations:

  • The Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center – located at 23400 Park Sorrento.

  • Free park & ride shuttle from the Calabasas Civic Center (located at 100 Civic Center Way).  Shuttle hours:  4:30pm – 8:00pm. Pets are not allowed on shuttles with the exception of service animals.

2026 Summer Concerts in the Park in Moorpark - June to September

The City of Moorpark is hosting Summer Concerts in the Park at Arroyo Vista Park, 4550 Tierra Rejada Road. Free admission! Concerts start at 6 p.m. Gates open an hour prior.

The Lineup:

  • June 27: Fast Times (80s Music)

  • July 25: The 805 Social Club (Pop)

  • August 22: Blue Breeze Band (Soul/R&B)

  • September 26: Country Nation

Bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit in the grass and enjoy the music.  Food vendors will be onsite, but you are welcome to bring outside food and beverages (beer and wine okay, no hard alcohol). No canopies or umbrellas will be allowed within 100 feet of the stage. No animals allowed in the event space except service animals.

2026 City of Westlake Village TGIF and Saturday Concert Series This Summer

Summer evenings in Westlake Village provide the perfect backdrop for a great entertainment series. The annual TGIF Westlake Village series offers families a series of free performances.

The lineup:

Friday, May 29: Jazz Night with Lindero Canyon Middle School and Agoura High School Jazz Bands (This will take place at Berniece Bennett Park, 31800 Village Center Road, due to construction at the City Hall courtyard). Starts at 7pm. Food trucks available at 6pm

Friday, June 12: Thousand Oaks DJ, World Cup Watch Party of the USA vs Paraguay match. (This will take place at Berniece Bennett Park, 31800 Village Center Road, due to construction at the City Hall courtyard). Activities start at 5pm. Game starts at 6pm

Friday, August 7: 5-Star Theatricals (This will take place at the City Hall courtyard at 31200 Oak Crest Drive.)

2026 Pioneer Jamboree at Stagecoach Inn Newbury Park on Saturday, June 6th

The Stagecoach Inn Museum hosts its Annual Pioneer Jamboree from 10am to 4 pm, Saturday, June 6, 2026, on the museum’s grounds at 51 S. Ventu Park Road, Newbury Park.

Bring the whole family to pan for gold, lasso like a cowgirl or cowboy, see a blacksmith fire-up the forge, and play pioneer games. Wear your western costumes (optional) and join the fun!

Activities include storytelling; cursive writing; fossil digging; rock painting; giant bubble making, and more! You can even try your hand at using a washboard… for laundry or for making music!

There are two parking locations- one next to the Museum on Ventu Park Road and one behind the Museum on Susan Drive.

General admission is $12. Children age 5 to 12 are $5 and age 4 and under are free. Conejo Valley Historical Society Members are free.

Sea Center Celebrates World Oceans Day with Free Admission

On Saturday, June 6, 2026, the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History Sea Center on Stearns Wharf invites the community to celebrate World Oceans Day with free admission and a full day of ocean-themed activities from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Guests of all ages can meet animals from the Santa Barbara Channel, explore interactive exhibits, and connect with local organizations working to protect and study our ocean.

Community partners include The Nature Conservancy California, Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary, UCSB Marine Science Institute and Long-Term Ecological Research, Santa Barbara Surfrider Foundation, The Cultured Abalone Farm, Celebration Cruises (Lil’ Toot!), Sunflower Star Lab, Channel Islands Cetacean Research Unit, Santa Barbara Channelkeeper, CSU Long Beach Shark Lab, and the Commercial Fishermen of Santa Barbara. Each partner will offer unique insights into ocean research, conservation, and maritime culture.

The celebration extends across Stearns Wharf. Guests can pick up a World Oceans Day passport at the Sea Center and collect stamps at participating Wharf businesses, including Lil’ Toot Santa Barbara, Moby Dick Restaurant, Deep Sea Tasting Room, Nature’s Own Gallery, and Mother Stearns Candy Company, with special offers available June 6 and 7. Adventurous folks who get their entire passport filled with stamps can enter into a drawing to win a special gift basket by returning their full passport back to the Sea Center.

2026 City of Moorpark 3rd of July Fireworks Extravaganza

The City of Moorpark presents its 3rd of July Fireworks Extravaganza on Friday, July 3, 2026 at Arroyo Vista Park, 4550 Tierra Rejada Road, Moorpark. Gates open and festivities - live music, activities, games, food vendors, etc. - start at 4:00 p.m.

Admission: $8 advance purchase or $10 cash at the gate.

Onsite parking $5 - must be purchased in advance.

2026 Camarillo Community Band Summer Concerts in the Park on Thursdays, July 9 to July 30

The Camarillo Community Band's 2026 Summer Concert Series is planned at Constitution Park, Carmen Drive at Paseo Camarillo on July 9, 16, 23, and 30.

Performances start at 7:00pm (and end at approximately 8:30 pm). Free admission. Bring chairs, blankets and picnic dinners while enjoying the show.
