The Chabad of Moorpark Jewish Center invites the community to celebrate the Festival of Lights at its annual Chanukah Festival on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 4:30-5:30PM at the Mission Bell Plaza, 593 Los Angeles Avenue.

Event to include a glowing menorah, gelt drop, free hot latkes and donuts, music, crafts and games, entertainment, hot coffee and drinks and more. Event is free of charge.

Christmas Tree Lane Drive-Through

December 7th through 26th, 2025. Nightly displays from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., F & G Streets between 5th & Palm. Drive through Ventura County’s largest holiday light display in the Henry T. Oxnard National Historic District. Residents provide all holiday decorations and lighting.

Moorpark Groundhog Day 5K and 1 Mile Run on Saturday, February 7, 2026

The Moorpark Groundhog Day 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run is planned for Saturday, February 7, 2026. Event proceeds benefit Moorpark High School’s cross country and track programs. All ages and abilities are welcome.  All participants age 11 and under who complete the 5k will received a finisher medal.  There will also be a “Catch the Groundhog” 1 mile fun run for kids 11 and under which will be held on the track with finisher medals for all.

Post-race festivities include the awards ceremony with age group medals plus refreshments, vendors and a raffle of wonderful prizes donated by local businesses.

Moorpark High School is located at 4500 Tierra Rejada Road, Moorpark. There will be plenty of free parking close to the race start.

2025 Annual Community Holiday Dinner in Thousand Oaks on December 25th

Local community members in need are invited to join Temple Adat Elohim in the congregation’s festively decorated social hall, located at 2420 E. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks, for a delicious hot turkey meal with all the fixings. Guests will also enjoy listening to holiday music. Gifts will be available for children.

49th Annual Ventura Harbor Holiday Parade of Lights and Fireworks on December 12-13, 2025

Ventura Harbor celebrates the season with its 49th Annual Holiday Parade of Lights and Fireworks on Friday, December 12th and Saturday, December 13th, 2025, starting at 6:30 pm. This year's theme is “Let It Glow.”

The two-day fun filled event includes a carnival, seaside shopping and dining followed by the lighted boat parade at 6:30 pm. Fireworks after the parade each night! (weather permitting)

Kids’ rides, carnival games and food vendors on the Harbor Village main lawn available starting at 4 pm. Faux snowfall too!

Admission is free. Paid parking available or take shuttle from Harbor & Schooner Drive parking lot and Portside Ventura.

75th Annual Santa Paula Holiday Parade on Friday, November 28, 2025

The 75th Annual Santa Paula Christmas Parade will take place on Friday, November 28, 2025 at 7pm. The event is hosted by the City of Santa Paula in partnership with the Santa Paula Chamber of Commerce and Santa Paula Optimist Club.

Marching bands, toy soldiers, floats, automobiles, equestrians, community groups and Santa Claus will be part of the festivities.

Parade will be run rain or shine, eastbound on Main Street from Seventh St to Mill St.
