2025 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular and Other Fun Events in Thousand Oaks

The 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, coordinated by the Conejo Recreation and Park District, The City of Thousand Oaks and other local sponsors, takes place on the hill behind the Hillcrest Center of the Arts in Thousand Oaks. Fireworks start at 9 p.m., with a great view from Janss Marketplace and The Oaks mall parking lots and surrounding areas!  Patriotic music simulcast by KHAY 100.7 FM.

Other 4th of July activities in Thousand Oaks include the following:

Pancake Breakfast $5.00/person at Borchard Community Center, 190 Reino Road, Newbury Park, from 8:00-11:00am, Pancakes, sausage, coffee and orange juice will be served.

2025 Concerts at the Plaza at the Simi Valley Civic Center Plaza July 12 to August 23

Concerts at the Plaza is a free Saturday evening concert series at the Simi Civic Center Plaza on Tapo Canyon Road off the 118 in Simi Valley, in the Regal Cinema Plaza Food Court. Concerts run from 6-9pm. Emmy-winning comedian Mark DeCarlo (Hugh Neutron, Sale of the Century) will be hosting trivia contests, cracking jokes, and giving away exciting prizes throughout the summer! Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the show.

2025 Conejo Recreation & Park District Summer Concerts in the Park - May through September

The 2021 concert series will NOT look like this concert a couple years ago. This year’s concert series will be socially distanced and will require advance ticket purchases.

Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and picnics, then sit back and relax to the sounds of summer! The Conejo Recreation & Park District Summer Concerts in the Park is back again in 2025.

Jackets or sweaters are recommended as the weather often cools during the latter part of the event. Concert-goers are asked to leave pets at home. Concerts are FREE and open to the public.

Location: Conejo Community Park, 1175 Hendrix Avenue, Thousand Oaks
(off Gainsborough Road, at the intersection of Dover and Hendrix Avenues)

Time: All concerts begin promptly at 5:00pm and conclude at 7:00pm. Parking is offsite only; onsite parking is limited and reserved for cars with handicap placards.

Join in on an evening of free entertainment and listen to Kenny Metcalf - Elton John, The Early Years, on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Oak Canyon Community Park, 5600 Hollytree Drive, Oak Park at 6:30pm.

A free shuttle is provided to and from the Oak Park Community Center. 

Kona Ice and Rock n Roll Café trucks will be on hand.

Valley Cultural Foundation’s Free Concerts at Warner Park in Woodland Hills - June 15 to August 24, 2025

Valley Cultural Foundation’s Free Concerts at Warner Park take place on Sunday evenings from June 15 to August 24, 2025 (except the Sunday after 4th of July). All concerts start at 5:30 PM with Emerging Artists Opening Act performances. Headliners will follow shortly after and end at 8 PM.

Located at the Nora Ross Bandshell at the Lou Bredlow Pavilion at 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills. There is plenty of room for a late afternoon picnic with the family while being entertained by headline performers.

2025 Music Under the Stars at Olivas Adobe in Ventura, July 12 to September 6

The City of Ventura Cultural Affairs Division presents the popular Music Under the Stars series, Saturday nights beginning July 12 through September 6, 2025. Performances run from 7:30 to 9:30 pm outdoors at the historic Olivas Adobe, 4200 Olivas Park Drive, near Ventura Harbor. Concerts start at 7:30 pm & gates open at 6:30 pm for dining. Spend your summer Sundays with great live music at the 2025 Summer Sun Sets Concert Series at Calabasas Lake

The traditionally private Calabasas Lake opens its doors to concert goers, providing a scenic backdrop and ample field seating for picnickers. The public is encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and sweaters. Some fixed seating is available on a first come first served basis. All performances are free to the public.
