10th Annual Taste of Conejo Event in Westlake Village on November 9, 2018

The 10th annual Taste of Conejo, presented by the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce, returns to the Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 6-9 p.m.

Food and wine enthusiasts will enjoy an all-inclusive evening of exceptional food, wine, beer and spirit tastings from over 60 local restaurants, breweries and wineries. New local establishments “tasting” at the event this year include:  101 North Eatery & Bar at The Shoppes at Westlake, the newest Cake Monkey Bakery location in Westlake Village, Mr. & Mrs. Churro and Mejico Grill & Tequila Lounge in Agoura Hills. While returning favorites will be creating unique guest experiences including: a caramel apple dipping bar from Newberry Candy, martini tastings via an ice luge from Partysserie and a strawberry fondue station by Celebrate Sweetly.

The event will also feature flair bartenders from The Flair Project out of Santa Barbara, who will be handcrafting cocktails while entertaining guests throughout the evening in the middle of the Grand Ballroom. After guests sip on their handcrafted cocktail, they can strike a pose at the custom wooden Step & Repeat with photos provided by Wuddabooth Photobooth.

Pre-sale tickets are available online at TasteofConejo.com through November 4th; $75 per person for general admission and $120 for VIP tickets that include complimentary valet parking and 1-hour early entry into the event from 5-6p.m. Chamber members receive $15 off either ticket with their discount code. From November 5th –November 9th, general admission tickets will be available for $85, VIP tickets for $130 and a limited amount of tickets will be sold at the door. Only guests over the age of 21 will be allowed admittance.

16th Annual "Stand Up for Kids" Gala Dinner & Auction in Westlake Village on October 20, 2018

Step back in time and experience a decade full of glitz, glamour and old-fashioned fun during the 16th Annual ‘Stand Up for Kids’ Gala Dinner & Auction hosted by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley.  Centered around a 1920’s theme, the event takes place on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village.

The annual Gala Dinner & Auction is the largest fundraising event for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley.  Evening highlights include a silent & live auction, gourmet dining, entertainment, and dancing.  The Gala helps support over 4,200 children in quality before and after school programs, sport leagues and summer camps.

The 2018 Gala Honorees are Tom & Shelley Schlender and the Cal Johnston Award will be presented to Joe Seetoo.  Erika D. Beck, President of California State University Channel Islands will be Master of Ceremonies and Jeff Tanenbaum will serve as the auctioneer.

The Dime Picnic in Hidden Valley on October 14, 2018

The Dime Picnic is planned for Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 3pm to 8pm at a Shadow Oaks Private Estate off of Potrero Road in Hidden Valley (Thousand Oaks).  Open to age 21+.

Event will feature 10 wineries, breweries, spirits and food trucks included the price of admission, plus live acoustic music. Unlimited tastings.

Simi's Endless Summer Beerfest on Saturday, August 25, 2018

Simi’s Endless Summer Beer Fest is presented by the Rotary Club of Simi Sunset on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 5-9PM. Event will feature over a dozen craft breweries with over 20 beers to taste. Participants will enjoy unlimited beer tastings featuring our local breweries, listen to live music and enjoy eating from some of the best food trucks in town. Attendees must be ages 21+ for obvious reasons. Dogs not allowed either.

The Conejo Simi Moorpark Association of REALTORS (CSMAR) and the CSMAR Public Benefit Foundation a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, invite you to our 805 Wine & Brew Festival, a philanthropic Wine & Beer event being held at the beautiful Los Robles Greens in Thousand Oaks.

Wine & Beer tastings will be offered by local wineries and breweries accompanied by food prepared by the chef at Los Robles Greens. The event will also include various Art & Craft vendors, a Silent Raffle and the rocking music of IGNITION, an awesome local cover band.
