The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Conejo Valley event is a life-changing experience that gives everyone in their community a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, Remember loved ones lost, and Fight Back against the disease.  The 2026 event will take place on Saturday, September 19th from 8 am to 8 pm at California Lutheran University’s Memorial Field, 141 Memorial Pkwy, Thousand Oaks.

The festivities begin with a non-competitive 5k fun run around the beautiful CLU campus. After the runners return, we will kick off the Relay event with Opening Ceremonies featuring local civic leaders, volunteer organizers, and cancer survivors from all across Conejo Valley will start the first lap of the Relay. Throughout the day fundraising teams will host games and activities for all ages, local bands will play awesome music, and food will be available for a donation to the American Cancer Society.

Whether you are a survivor, a caregiver, or simply someone who wants to make a difference, this event is for you. Lace up your sneakers, gather your friends and family, and let's make a lasting impact together.

Westlake High School Instrumental Music Boosters presents its 16th Annual Food Truck Festival on Sunday, October 11, 2026 from 11am to 4pm at Westlake High School.

Enjoy a beautiful day, with great music, delicious food from gourmet food trucks, kids activities, live music, silent auction and raffle.

TOArts Hosts Inaugural Spotlight Arts Festival in Thousand Oaks on Sunday, September 13th

TOArts will host its inaugural Spotlight Arts Festival on Sunday, September 13, 2026 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center in Thousand Oaks.

The free event will showcase local artists, performing groups, cultural organizations, and community partners with live performances, artist booths, hands-on activities, backstage theatre tours, live painting, and more. Scheduled performers include SciArtsRUs, India Friends Association, Pacific Pearl Music Association, Los Robles Children's Choir, Gold Coast Theatre Co., and Kingsmen Shakespeare Company.

Visitors can also meet local artists, explore arts organizations, enjoy music from DJ Uncle Alex, and take part in activities such as the Art Trek Creation Station. Complimentary bites from Fogo de Chão will be available.

Free Clinic of Simi Valley Fredrick Michael Gibson 5K/10K & Half Marathon Walk/Run on Sunday, October 11, 2026

The Free Clinic of Simi Valley, in partnership with Simi Valley Hospital, presents the Fredrick Michael Gibson 5K/10K & Half Marathon Walk/Run for Depression Awareness and Kids’ 1K Fun Run at Rancho Simi Community Park, 1765 Royal Avenue, Simi Valley (near the tennis courts at Erringer and Royal). Event will take place on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at 7 am (Half Marathon), 8:15 am (5K/10K) and 9:30 am (Kids’ Run).

Funds raised from this event will benefit the Free Clinic of Simi Valley's Counseling Programs. Every day, the Free Clinic is saving lives, improving the health of the community, and reducing health care costs for residents of Simi Valley. The Clinic does this through preventing visits to hospital emergency departments, which are costly and provide no continuity of care.

The Ponies by the Sea Car Show will be held at Harbor View Park at Channel Islands Harbor, 3600 Harbor Blvd., Oxnard on Sunday, October 11, 2026 from 10am to 3pm.  Mustangs and other Ford powered vehicles are welcome to enter. Proceeds from the show to benefit the Guide Dogs of America and Tender Loving Canines. Food trucks and vendors will be on hand. There will also be food trucks, music, games and more.

2026 Santa Barbara Harbor & Seafood Festival on Saturday, October 17th

When it comes to fresh seafood, you can’t get it any fresher than right off the boat. On October 17, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Santa Barbara Harbor & Seafood Festival lures seafood lovers of all ages to Santa Barbara’s thriving harbor for one of the community’s most beloved and flavorful events. 

This signature event coincides with lobster season and features local commercial fishermen offering the Santa Barbara Channel’s freshest seafood. Fishermen and seafood vendors will provide thousands of festival-goers with an abundance of live lobster, crab, prawns, BBQ albacore, clam chowder, fish tacos, seafood gumbo and other prepared dishes. Arts and crafts vendors will offer jewelry, clothing, art, photography and other hand-crafted items. There will also be vessel tours, harbor boat rides, and live music.

Admission is FREE. Since 2002, the annual Harbor and Seafood Festival has become Santa Barbara’s signature autumn event. It brings people together for a day full of fun and good memories.

The City of Westlake Village's 24th Annual City Celebration will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026 from 3pm to 8pm. Event will feature the White Oak Elementary Family Fun Fair, food trucks, craft beer, wine, family friendly activities, live performances, and more.
