31st Anniversary Love Run 5K/10K/1 Mile Run in Westlake Village on June 1, 2025

The Senior Concerns 31st Anniversary Love Run, presented by Logix, is planned for Sunday, June 1, 2025 in Westlake Village. The races start and finish at 3011 Townsgate Road.

Runners and walkers can participate in a 10K, 5K or one-mile fun run. It is the perfect event for the entire family. Virtual run is also available.

This annual event supports Senior Concerns’ Meals On Wheels Program, which helps ensure homebound seniors do not go without food. Senior Concerns has been delivering Meals On Wheels since its founding in 1975. Senior Concerns delivers more than 6,000 meals per month to homebound seniors in Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, and Oak Park.

2025 Ojai Valley Century Bike Ride on Saturday, May 31st

The 2025 Ojai Valley Century bike ride is planned for Saturday, May 31st. The ride has five scenic routes: metric century (63 miles), full century (101 miles), double metric century (134 miles), hammerhead century (102 miles) and half metric century (31 miles).

All routes include tours out of Ojai, past Casitas Lake and up over the double Casitas Pass, a fast ride down the other side into Carpinteria and back down the coast to Ventura. Post race BBQ included! More information at www.ojaivalleycentury.org.

The Moorpark Field of Valor is a patriotic tribute honoring all Veterans and Active Duty Military personnel for their dedication and service to our nation, preserving our security, our independence, and our freedom. Flags will be proudly be displayed, each dedicated in honor of a friend or family member.

The proceeds from the Moorpark Morning Rotary’s Field of Valor event will go to various non-profit organizations that provide direct support to local veterans and the families of our deployed military.

A company or individual can sponsor or purchase flag(s) (3ft x 4ft) honoring a deceased veteran friend or family member.

37th Annual Ojai Wine Festival at Lake Casitas on Saturday, June 21, 2025

The 37th Annual Ojai Wine Festival is the longest running wine festival in Ventura County. Overlooking scenic Lake Casitas in the Ojai Valley, The Ojai Wine Festival is an idyllic venue to taste award winning wines, amazing craft beers, fine spirits, ciders, kombucha and spiked seltzers. A bountiful selection of wineries and craft breweries will be represented along with a tempting selection of gourmet food trucks selling delicious culinary cuisine. Ojai Art Center Presents Its 48th Annual Art in the Park Event on May 24-25, 2025

The Ojai Art Center hosts its 48th annual Art in the Park celebration on Memorial Day weekend, May 24th and 25th, 2025, from 10am to 5pm at Libbey Park in Downtown Ojai.

Art in the Park is an annual tradition started in 1977 by local artists at the Ojai Art Center to give artists a place to sell their work during Memorial Day weekend. Nestled amongst the oaks in beautiful Libbey Park, a natural setting is created to showcase the rich mixture of works in a variety of mediums. Art in the Park has enjoyed a long tradition of displaying quality art. Presented by the Ojai Art Center, the oldest non-profit art center in California, the festival attracts artists from near and far. The relaxed atmosphere and approachable artists draws crowds (between 3,000 – 5,000) from Ojai and neighboring communities.

The Ojai Art Center is the oldest multi-purpose nonprofit art center in California, has been providing a place for the arts and art-related activities for more than 80 years. Nite Moves Run, Swim, Duathlon Series in Santa Barbara May 21 to Aug 27, 2025

The annual Nite Moves - Swimming, Running & Biathlon events take place every Wednesday evening at Leadbetter Beach Park, 801 Shoreline Road, Santa Barbara from May 21 through August 27, 2025. Onsite registration begins at 5:15 pm. Swim starts at 6:25 pm; run at 6:35 pm.

Ocean conditions vary...Many brave this distance without a suit...Great workout for getting swim experience in a crowd as we usually have a 100 swimmers at the starting line...5K footraces begin at the east end of Shoreline. Out and back course with majestic views of the Santa Ynez Mountains circling Santa Barbara, race back and view Stearns Wharf, finishing at Leadbetter Beach Park.

39th Annual I Madonnari Italian Street Painting Festival at Santa Barbara Mission May 24-26, 2025

The I Madonnari Italian Street Painting Festival will be back over Memorial Day Weekend 2025, May 24-26. at the Old Mission Santa Barbara, 2100 Laguna Street. Festival hours are 10am to 6pm.

Madonnari, or street painters, transform the Santa Barbara Mission plaza each year over Memorial Day weekend using pastels on pavement to create over 100 vibrant and colorful, large scale images. The event is produced by the Children’s Creative Project.

There will also be live music and food available for purchase.

Pets are not allowed (other than service animals).
