Spooky Town returns to the Simi Valley Town Center on Friday, October 24, 2025 from 5-9pm. Free event to include trick or treating, craft tables, costume contest, Halloween music and dancing.
The Collection at RiverPark in Oxnard is hosting a Trick-or-Treat event on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 5pm. Event includes Hocus Pocus Party in the park, photos opps, DJ, trick or treating at shops (bring your own bag), and more.

The Teaching Zoo at Moorpark College, 7075 Campus Road, Moorpark, turns wildly spooktacular the weekends of October 18-19 and 25-26, 2025 from 11am to 4:30pm for “Boo at the Zoo,” the annual Halloween-themed event that features animal shows, trick or treating, kids’ scavenger hunt, food trucks, free kids’ crafts and more.
For the family-fun event, the Zoo will be draped in decorations, and people of all ages can closely view the more than 100 animals cared for at the Zoo.
Admission is $12 for ages 12-64, $10 for ages 3-12 and $10 for seniors (65+). Kids ages 2 and under are admitted free. Tickets available at zoo.moorparkcollege.edu/boo-at-the-zoo.
The Teaching Zoo at Moorpark College is the only zoo in Ventura County and is the home of the Exotic Animal Training and Management Program, which started in 1971. The program offers preparation for those interested in entering the expanding animal care industry. The students study zoo keeping, basic medical care, wildlife education and training using positive reinforcement methods.

Kids Seaside Trick or Treat 2025

Dress up the kids and navigate through the Ventura Harbor Village from 1 – 3PM. Come early starting at noon to explore vendors and other activities. This free community event features 20+ treat stops at participating shops and restaurants, packed full of sweets (while supplies last), face painting, Halloween themed crafts, professional pumpkin carving, and more.
The City of Malibu Community Services Department presents the Bu Bash Halloween Carnival Spooktacular on Friday, October 23, 2026 from 3-6PM at Malibu Bluffs Park, 24250 Pacific Coast Highway. Event is for ages 2-10 and features arts and crafts, carnival games, costume cat walk, bounce houses, food trucks, trick or treat street and more. $10 per participant (kids only). The Oaks presents the Little Oaks Kids Club, twice a month on Thursdays from 11am to 1pm. The Little Oaks Kids Club is a monthly series of engaging, family-friendly events designed for toddlers and young children. Each free event hosts themed crafts and music to magical storytimes. Events take place on Level 1, near Hallmark and Macy’s Women’s and Kids.

Spring “Conejo & Easter” Hunt & Festival on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 1-4PM.
Hop on over to the Stagecoach Inn Museum and bring the kids and grandchildren to hunt for “conejos,” while the whole family enjoys exploring historic structures and interacting with costumed docents. A map is included with admission for marking bunny sightings to be turned in for a prize in this frolicking outdoor hunt around the beautiful museum grounds.
Our Conejo Hunt this year will send “kids” of all ages hunting for several numbered metal art “Conejos” made by blacksmith Bobby Mensinger and there will be new baby animals to look for this Spring to add to the fun... ducklings, chicks, and of course, baby bunnies.
Have your picture taken with our resident Easter Bunny and we’ll have crafts and “bunny” sack races and frolicking about to the sweet sounds of a local live band.

The Camarillo Police Department announces its 3rd annual Trunk or Treat event for Halloween at the Camarillo Police Station. This year’s event will be held on Monday, 10/28/2024, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Several community partners will adorn their cars in Halloween decorations and pass out candy to kids as they walk by. This is a free, family friendly event that is appropriate for all ages.
First responders will be present to hand out candy and stickers. There will be several police resources and vehicles on display including an armored vehicle, police car, police motorcycle, sheriff’s K9, sheriff’s off-road vehicle, an ambulance and a Ventura County Fire Engine.
The Easter Bunny is coming to the Simi Valley Town Center on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 11am to 5pm. Event to feature dancing, games, crafts and more in Center Court. www.facebook.com/svtowncenter
Join The Oaks mall for a special Trick or Treat night on October 31 from 4pm to 6pm. Look for special treat stations throughout the center. Trunk or Treat with police vehicles, take pics and collect candy and treats throughout the center at special treat stations.
