Kids Seaside Trick or Treat 2025

Sunday, October 26, 2025

Dress up the kids and navigate through the Ventura Harbor Village from 1 – 3PM. Come early starting at noon to explore vendors and other activities. This free community event features 20+ treat stops at participating shops and restaurants, packed full of sweets (while supplies last), face painting, Halloween themed crafts, professional pumpkin carving, and more.

Haunted High Street Event in Moorpark on Friday, October 31, 2025

Join the City of Moorpark on Halloween night for some spooky family fun on historic High Street! Activities will include a trunk-or-treat, Halloween carnival (suitable for ages 3-10) and attractions, a costume contest, haunted house, DJ music, food trucks and more!

Event hours are 4-7pm and will be held in the north Metrolink parking lot. Event parking will be at the south Metrolink parking lot. Admission is free, and there is a nominal fee for games and some attractions - carnival tickets $5 advance purchase October 1-30; $10 (cash only) at the event. Parents do not need tickets.

13th Annual Ventura County Farm Day on Saturday, November 8, 2025

Fifteen Ventura County farms, ranches and agricultural organizations will open their doors to the public to experience a day of free agricultural activities and tours during the 13th Annual Ventura County Farm Day on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The day includes behind-the-scenes tours, tractor-with-trailer rides, tastings, giveaways and kid-friendly activities. Farm Day allows the public to meet local farmers who grow the food we eat.

Check the Farm Day Trail Map at vcfarmday.org/map for the latest list of participants. Some locations require reservations.

The nonprofit 501(c)(3) Students for Eco-Education and Agriculture (SEEAG) organizes Ventura County Farm Day. SEEAG’s mission is to educate students and the greater community about the farm origins of our food and agriculture's contribution to our nutritional well-being.

2025 Camarillo Christmas Parade and Santa's Village on Saturday, December 13th

Pleasant Valley Recreation & Park District presents the 63rd Annual Camarillo Christmas Parade and Santa’s Village on Saturday, December 13, 2025.

Bring the family to cheer on local bands, equestrian groups, floats, and Santa! The parade starts at Las Posas and Temple Ave. and ends at the Community Center. The parade begins at 10 a.m. and lasts 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Santa's Village is 10am- 2pm at the Community Center, 1605 Burnley St. There will be holiday shopping, food trucks, live music, photos with Santa, and other free activities.

2025 Simi Valley SnowFest Event on Sunday, November 2nd

Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District is holding its annual SnowFest event on Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at Rancho Madera Community Park, 556 Lake Park Dr. Simi Valley.

Event to include sledding, snow lots, kids’ attractions, vendor expo and food vendors. $10 for all day wristband for snow slides and kids’ attractions. Free access to snow lot.

Archaeology Day at King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas on Saturday, October 4, 2025

On Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the National Park Service, California State Parks, and Western National Parks Association (WNPA) will host Archaeology Day at the Santa Monica Mountains Interagency Visitor Center in Calabasas.

The family-friendly event, including parking, is free and is organized to shed light on a discipline that is sometimes overlooked.

All-day activities will include digging up artifacts in an “excavation” box, spear throwing, flint knapping demos, local artifacts on display, replica viewing and much more.

Visitors of all ages will also get a chance to earn a special patch and become junior archaeologists.

Celebrate Adolfo Camarillo's Birthday at the Camarillo Ranch on Sunday, October 26, 2025

The Camarillo Ranch Foundation will celebrate the City’s namesake’s birthday with a free birthday celebration that will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 26, 2025. The birthday celebration is a tradition that honors Don Adolfo’s love for community.

The free event is open to the public and will feature:

  • The famous Camarillo White Horses

  • Performances by Mariachi Camarillo and Ballet Folklorico Mexico

  • Docent guided tours of Adolfo Camarillo’s 1892 Queen Anne Victorian Mansion
