The 5th Annual Camarillo Old Town Glow Holiday Walk is Friday, December 6, 2024 from 5-9pm. Kick off the holiday season with a festive stroll through Old Town Camarillo! Start at one of our two convenient Check-In Locations, where you'll receive a map, wristband, glass for Holiday Drink Tastings, and 10 Giveaway Tickets.

As you explore the boulevard, enjoy Holiday Drink Tastings from local businesses and admire the dazzling decorations competing in our Holiday Lighting Contest—be sure to vote for your favorite!

Don’t forget to show off your festive spirit in our Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest, where you can compete for the title of Best Ugly Sweater! Plus, families can capture the magic with photos with Santa.

Throughout the evening, Christmas carolers will fill the air with holiday cheer, and you'll have the chance to win themed holiday giveaway baskets from participating businesses.

58th Annual Holiday Parade of Lights at Channel Islands Harbor on December 14, 2024

Channel Islands Harbor kicks off the holidays with its 58th Annual Holiday Parade of Lights beginning at 7pm on Saturday, December 14, 2024. This year’s theme is “Sleigh Bells & Spurs: A Rockin’ Rodeo Boat Parade.”

Festivities at the Harbor begin at noon at Harbor View Park just south Marine Emporium Landing (3600 Harbor Boulevard Oxnard). Take your family and enjoy a variety of food options, a holiday artists’ market, live music, and children’s activities. Santa will be there to take pictures, free of charge, with your children from noon to 4 p.m.

Santa Claus will jump from the sky for a spectacular parachute landing at Janss Marketplace at noon on Friday, November 29, 2024.

Santa’s targeted landing location is in front of Sharky's, facing Moorpark Road. There is plenty of parking in the parking garage accessible from Hillcrest Drive or Brazil. The best viewing area is around the main fountain, near Buca di Beppo and Sharky's.

The free holiday celebration continues until 3 p.m. with face painters, magic show, kids’ crafts, story time with Mrs. Claus, live seasonal music, and photos with Santa.

The City of Oxnard invites the community to attend this year’s Veterans Day Ceremony in downtown Oxnard at Plaza Park, 500 S. C St., to honor all who have served our country, including those who are currently serving at home and abroad.

9 am – Veterans Parade will start at B St. & Third St. and will end at Plaza Park (500 S. C St.)

11 am – Outdoor ceremony will take place next to the Veterans Memorial at Plaza Park.

The community is invited to join in celebrating veterans and current members of the military who have served our country and our community at the 25th Annual Malibu Veteran’s Day Public Ceremony, Monday, November 11, 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Malibu City Hall

The theme of this year’s event is “A Quarter Century of Honor.” Keynote speaker is Pat Boone. Program is 11am to 12:30pm. Refreshments 12:30-1:30pm.
