4th of July Celebration at Janss Marketplace in Thousand Oaks

The July 4th Fireworks Spectacular at Janss Marketplace features live music, family activities, great food and the perfect location to view the impressive show of fireworks that light up the night! The July 4th fireworks are a dazzling finale to the free annual event from 5 - 9 p.m. at Janss Marketplace, located off the 101 Freeway at Moorpark Road and Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks.

Beginning at 5 p.m. on July 4, attendees can get wristbands at the Information Booth near Burlington for access to the rooftop level of Janss Marketplace, the best fireworks viewing location in Conejo Valley.

KHAY 100.7 radio station will play music beginning at 5 p.m. before The Long Run Eagles Tribute Band performance at 6 p.m. on the Parking Structure Rooftop. Amateur singers have an opportunity to win prizes in a free entry Karaoke Contest during the band break. Karaoke Contest entry is open on July 4 from 5 – 6:30 p.m. at the Information Booth on the parking deck rooftop.

Other free event activities from 5 – 9 p.m. include kids’ crafts, face painting, bounce house and Magic Show. Come early for dinner or pick-up a meal from one of Janss Marketplace’s great restaurants during the event.

The 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, coordinated by the Conejo Recreation and Park District, The City of Thousand Oaks and other local sponsors, takes place on the hill behind the Hillcrest Center of the Arts in Thousand Oaks. July 4th Celebration at Bethany Church on the Hill in Thousand Oaks

Join the 4th of July fun and see the best panoramic view of Conejo Valley's Independence Day fireworks on Thursday, July 4, 2019 at Bethany Church on the Hill in Thousand Oaks. The festivities begin at 6:00 PM. Free children's activities include balloon artists, patriotic crafts, inflatable play zone, petting zoo, face painting, games and more! Live music provided. Hot dogs, burgers, shaved ice and snacks will be available for purchase from Bethany Church's Missions Team with all proceeds supporting the Hands of Mercy Loft House Project.

2019 Rotary Club of Ventura 4th of July Fireworks Show and Family Picnic

Rotary Club of Ventura proudly presents the 25th Ventura Fireworks Show celebrating family, community and country on the 4th of July at the beautiful Ventura College fields. Gates open at 5 pm with a spectacular fireworks show at 9 pm. The evening also includes live music, robotics demonstration, giveaways, food vendors, and a Kids Fun Zone with bounce houses, GIANT inflatable attractions and organized games. Discounted Family Packs are available at venturafireworks.com now through July 4th at 5 pm. Tickets will also be available at Vons and at the Gate.

Guests may bring a picnic, including food, coolers, non alcoholic drinks (in plastic or aluminum), blankets and soft folding chairs. Small umbrellas are allowed, however pop-ups and large umbrellas are not allowed.  Please no pets and no BBQs/stoves. Games and activities like hula hoops and Frisbees are welcome as are your dancing shoes and positive attitude.

Tickets are available at each entrance gate the night of the event at standard rates of $8 adult, $6 child (4-12 years). Single tickets only at gate. Children 3 and under are FREE!

50th Annual Westlake Village 4th of July Parade and Party in the Park

The 50th Annual City of Westlake Village 4th of July Parade on Thursday, July 4, 2019 will line up at 9:30 AM and proceed down the decorated four block route at 9:45 AM.

Participants are encouraged to decorate their bike, scooter, skateboard, or wagon in patriotic colors and join the City of Westlake Village for this wonderful patriotic celebration! Residents are also welcome to cheer participants on from the side of the parade route.

Awards for Most Patriotic Pooch, Most Patriotic Baby (0-1), Most Patriotic Toddler (2-4), Most Patriotic Elementary (K-5), Most Patriotic Middle School (Grades 6-8), Most Patriotic High (9-12), Most Patriotic Young Adult (age 19-23), Most Patriotic Adult (24-49), Most Patriotic Senior (55 and up) and Most Patriotic Family!

But wait! Before the parade, starting at 8am, Boy Scout Troop #752’s pancake breakfast will take place at the former Westlake Village Medical Center Property at 4415 Lakeview Canyon at 8:00 am. Breakfast tickets are available for $5 per person or $20 per family.

The event begins at the corner of Lakeview Canyon Road and Agoura Road and marches down the four-block Agoura Road route to Berniece Bennett Park.

Once the parade arrives at the park there will be a U.S. flag retirement ceremony performed by Boy Scout Troup 485, followed by music, inflatables, old-fashioned games and free popsicles and water. The Rotary will be on hand selling hot dogs and snacks, with proceeds benefiting a local charity.

Ventura 4th of July Street Fair and 44nd Annual Children's Pushem-Pullem Parade

The 44th Annual City of Ventura 4th of July Street Fair on Thursday, July 4, 2019 extends along Main Street from Fir Street to Ventura Avenue as well as side streets Chestnut, Oak and California interspersed with six stages of entertainment and free shuttle bus service from the Ventura County Government Center to the Street Fair. 

The event covers seven blocks of Main Street and several side streets filled with over 200 fine artists, crafters, nonprofit organizations and food booths, as well as continuous live entertainment. Open 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. The event is free to the public.

Kids Zone at Mission Park includes rides, inflatables and a Ventura Fire Department fire engine!

A free shuttle service to the event from the Ventura County Government Center is available from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Last shuttle leaving the Street Fair is at 5 p.m. Theme for this year's event is "We have liftoff!" in honor of the 50th anniversary of NASA’s Apollo Program.

The 44th Annual Children’s Pushem - Pullem Parade at 9:30 a.m. is sponsored by the East Ventura Rotary Club.  Assemble at Cemetery Park at Main and Crimea Streets at 9 a.m.  The parade proceeds down Main Street to Fir Street at 9:30 a.m.

6th Annual Fireworks Spectacular Show in Westlake Village on Thursday, July 4, 2019

The 6th Annual Fireworks Spectacular Show will be presented by the City of Westlake Village on July 4, 2019. The fireworks will be fired from the Westlake Village Golf Course at 9:10 pm and the show will run 18 minutes.

The fireworks will be the grand finale to an afternoon of family-friendly activities at the Westlake Village Golf Course Driving Range and parking lot. 4th of July entertainment and activities will begin at 6:00 pm and end at 9:30 pm. The gates at the golf course will open at 5:00 pm and at 6:00 pm at Calvary.

Food truck meal options will be available for purchase. Outside alcohol is not allowed into the venue due to state regulations but will be available for purchase. Seating and picnicking will be available on the Westlake Village Golf Course Driving Range. The event is free and open to the public. Viewing locations are available at Calvary Community Church, Westlake Village Inn, Westlake Village Golf Course Driving Range, Berniece Bennett Park and surrounding areas.

Parking will be available at Calvary Community Church, Berniece Bennett Park, and the former hospital property. Valet parking is available at the Westlake Village Inn. Parking is not permitted on Agoura Road. Additional free parking is available near Brent's Deli in the parking lot that covers 2799-2835 Townsgate Road and the Westlake Park Place parking lots by 2915, 2931, 2945, 3027 and 3011 Townsgate Road. Please note that only open parking spaces are for public parking - any parking spaces marked reserved are not available to the public. Please follow the signage on Townsgate Road to locate these lots.
