Burgerim is expanding rapidly throughout Ventura County with planned new locations in Thousand Oaks (1610 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd, Ste C), Simi Valley (1390-2 Madera Road, Suite P1-2), Ventura (Pacific View Mall), Camarillo (Premium Outlets, 740 Ventura Blvd, Unit 0228) and Oxnard (Northside Plaza, 191 E. Gonzales Road).
Camarillo location opened July 23rd.
Ventura (440 E. Main Street) location opened earlier this year.

Existing locations are the original Ventura County location in Newbury Park that opened in March 2017 and a Ventura location early this year at 440 E. Main Street.
Burgerim means "many burgers" in Hebrew. The eatery serves up 2.8 ounce burgers made to order individually, in duos or in trios. Your choices include 3 types of buns, 11 patties (beef, dry aged beef, Wagyu beef, Merguez (spicy beef), turkey, lamb, chicken, salmon, veggie, Spanish beef and falafel and a variety of sauces and toppings.
Thanks to Steve Coppel for the heads up that Chef Marcus Webster is back at it again at the Kimber Plaza, 332 Kimber Drive (at Wendy), Suite C in Newbury Park with West of Orleans.
West of Orleans serves up New Orleans style po' boy sandwiches, gumbo, jambalaya and all the fixins like red beans and rice, corn bread, creole succotash and more.
Currently open for take out only Tuesday through Friday from 11am to 7:30pm as well as for catering.

Chef Webster previously owned and operated N’Awlinz Bistro in this same location, until he closed it in December 2013 to focus on other business interests. He’s back!
Amelia S once again tipped us off of a new eatery in town (she certainly has an eye for them); this one is Ameci Pizza Kitchen coming soon to the Westlake Village Marketplace at 5776 Lindero Canyon Road, Westlake Village.

After 45 years in business in Woodland Hills, The Original Pizza Cookery announced via Facebook today that its lease has not been renewed and that it will be relocating to Thousand Oaks! Yes, you heard that right!
Their target date is June 1st. UPDATE 5/30/19: They announced a June 3rd opening date at 11am. Liquor license will not be granted until July and breakfast menu will not be available until July. But garlic rolls will certainly be available starting June 3rd!
Location: 75 W. Thousand Oaks Boulevard, Thousand Oaks, at the Best Western Plus Thousand Oaks Inn, in the former Camboni Restaurant that closed last October.
This is terrible news for Woodland Hills but great news for residents of the Conejo Valley!
The former owners of Sesame Inn in Newbury Park (which is under new ownership and is still open), have opened a new eatery, Seven Spice Kitchen, at 2454 W Hillcrest Dr. #102, Newbury Park.
Seven Spice Kitchen offers authentic Chinese cuisine like Sesame Chicken, Seven Spice Fish, Beef with Jalapeños, and so on as well as special entrees, including Chinese Burger and Liangpi Zi (steamed cold noodles with spicy sauce ).

The “coming soon” sign is up for the new Jack in the Box that is being constructed at The Village at Newbury Park, northwest corner of Academy Drive and Grande Vista Drive.. Job openings are posted at nowhiring.com/bromley. The Jack in the Box will be located directly across the parking lot from LA Fitness.
Other businesses as we know include Lowe’s as well as Farmer Boys (quick serve eatery) and Autozone.

The Simi Valley Town Center announced today that Feel Good Bakery and Sandwich Shop will be opening at the Town Center around May 1st, serving gluten-free baked goods and vegan foods.
As you may have already heard, the long-anticipated Dave & Buster’s at 145 W. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks is set to open on Monday, March 4, 2019. Here are some details about the place:

This 32,000 square foot facility is the 15th location in California and 123rd location overall.
There is a sports bar with dozens of HDTVs with plenty of seating.
A huge portion of the space is dedicated towards arcade games. Additionally, guests can play the multiplayer virtual reality attraction featuring “Dragonfrost,” where guests will embark on the ultimate winter quest to save the kingdom, and Jurassic World VR Expedition, an interactive cinematic experience that transports players to the jungles of Isla Nubar on an epic rescue inspired by the Jurassic World film series.
