Cotti Coffee is coming to The Village at Newbury Park, located at 1025 Broadbeck Drive, Suite D, sandwiched (so to speak) between Subway and the Verizon Store). Sign says they are accepting applications at hr_la@cotticoffee.com.

For those unfamiliar with them, Cotti Coffee is a Chinese multinational coffee chain that has grown into the fourth-largest coffee brand in the world. Founded in August 2022, the brand already has over 18,000 stores across 28 countries and is now rapidly expanding into California. They brew 100% Arabica beans and focus on lattes, fresh fruit and tea drinks, matcha, frappes, and light snacks. mobile.us.cotticoffee.global

This new location is approximately 400 feet away from a Starbucks Drive-Thru, and a short walk across the street from Conejo Coffee and Makenna Koffee, not to mention a short stroll to the Starbucks inside Target.

Mochinut Coming Soon to Ventu Park Center in Newbury Park

Mochinut is coming soon to the Ventu Park Shopping Center (anchored by Ralph's) at the southwest corner of Ventu Park Road and Hillcrest Drive in Newbury Park. Mochinut offers mochi donuts, which have a chewy texture and are made with rice flour. They also offer crispy Korean rice corn dogs and drinks such as smoothies, coffee and matcha. www.mochinut.com

Sette Sorelle Restaurant and Lounge Now Open at the Palm Garden Hotel in Newbury Park

UPDATE 1/21/26: Sette Sorelle is now open. Initial hours are 5-9PM Mon-Thu and 5-10PM Fri-Sun. Make reservations at 805-864-1164.

Selvin’s Restaurant closed on December 31st and the new eatery, Sette Sorelle Restaurant and Lounge, got the new signs up this weekend. Updates on timing of its grand opening date on Instagram at @settesorellerestaurant.

Magma Pizzeria Coming Soon to the Conejo Gateway Plaza in Newbury Park

Magma Pizzeria is opening soon in the space formerly occupied by Pizza Twist in the Conejo Gateway Plaza in Newbury Park (711 Wendy Drive). They indicate they will have indoor/outdoor dining and a dedicated deli/grab and go area with imported goods from Italy when they open.

Makenna Koffee Company Coming to Newbury Park in the Spring of 2026

Makenna Koffee Company announced today that it will be opening another location this spring in Newbury Park, at 2700 Teller Road, Suite A, in the former Old New York Deli and Bakery (in the PetSmart/Boot Barn plaza). Follow @makennakoffee_np on Instagram for updates.

This will be Makenna’s 2nd Conejo Valley location. The Westlake Village location in the North Ranch Shopping Center opened on October 11, 2025.

Pulcinella Italian Eatery Opening Soon in Newbury Park (Now Open)

Pulcinella is the name of the new Italian eatery that will be opening real soon - I'm told possibly within a few days - in the former Cedro Italian Restaurant that closed on November 23rd at 2385 Michael Drive in Newbury Park.

The name of the eatery would appear to be inspired by the iconic Pulcinella mask - the mischievous soul of Naples - born in the 17th-century commedia dell'arte. Pulcinella is a trickster, a dreamer, a survivor - always laughing at life's contradictions.

No website or menu at this point. Stay tuned.

Cedro Italian Restaurant in Newbury Park posted this announcement to its Instagram Story yesterday, indicating it will be serving its last meal on Sunday, November 23rd.
