The Camarillo Costco is taking shape. Warehouse opening date on the Costco website still indicates 10/30/26, exactly 2 months from today. The gas station opened on May 1st. There will be an estimated 900 parking spaces, and some dedicated EV charging stalls. www.costco.com/w/-/ca/camarillo/1680
A new MINISO store is coming soon to The Shoppes at Westlake Village, taking over the recently vacated Tilly's space.
MINISO is a global lifestyle retailer headquartered in Guangzhou, China, known for its affordable selection of home goods, stationery, beauty products, toys, plushies, collectibles, tech accessories, snacks, and licensed merchandise featuring brands and characters such as Disney, Harry Potter, Sanrio, Peanuts, and more.

Savta is planned for The Lakes, next to Sora Handroll Bar, which is also coming soon.
Savta opened at The Original Farmers Market next to The Grove in Los Angeles in February 2025. The menu features wood-fired pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, brunch items, and other California and French-inspired dishes. "Savta" means "grandmother" in Hebrew, and the restaurant says it was named in honor of the owner's grandmother and her influence on the family's cooking traditions. Global pop culture brand POP MART has opened its first Ventura County location at The Oaks regional mall in Thousand Oaks. The store introduces POP MART's immersive shopping experience featuring the brand's globally recognized designer toys, original characters and signature blind box collectibles.
The opening is the first in a series of new retailers planned for The Oaks as Los Angeles-based Stockdale Capital, which acquired the mall in December 2025, executes its long-term vision to reposition the center with an increasingly curated mix of nationally recognized brands, first-to-market concepts and experiential retail. Additional tenant openings and leasing announcements are expected in the coming months.

A Pop Mart store is opening this fall at The Oaks mall in Thousand Oaks, on the lower level of the east wing between Macy’s and Lolli & Pops (across from the escalator and Starbucks). Pop Mart is a brand that began in Beijing, China in 2010 and is known for collectible figurines, plush characters, keychain collectibles, and “blind boxes” — sealed mystery boxes where you don’t know which character you’ll get until you open it.

The Pacific View Mall in Ventura announced today that Round1 Bowling & Arcade is under construction in the former Sears building and, along with YUU Japanese Food Hall, is expected to open their doors sometime in first half of 2026.
The 55,000 square food entertainment destination will feature 12 cosmic-lit bowling lanes, professional-grade billiards, private karaoke party rooms, and a large arcade showcasing both American and Japanese games.
YUU is a new Japanese food hall destination that will spotlight a collection of eateries and a variety of regional cuisines, including specialty pizzas, ramen and udon, and other Japanese street foods like Okonomiyaki (savory pancakes) and Takoyaki (battered octupus bites), as well as gelato.
