Flashlight Egg Hunt at Multiple Park Locations in Thousand Oaks on Friday, March 27, 2026

The Conejo Recreation and Park District Annual Flashlight Egg Hunt will take place at multiple neighborhood park locations in the Conejo Valley on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 6-9PM at:

  • Old Meadows Park - 1600 Marview Drive, Thousand Oaks

  • Borchard Community Park - 190 N. Reino Road, Newbury Park

  • Conejo Community Park - 1175 Hendrix Avenue, Thousand Oaks

  • Dos Vientos Community Park - 4801 Borchard Road, Newbury Park

  • Thousand Oaks Community Park - 2525 N. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks

This event is FREE and open to all!

Participants will get to hunt for 10 eggs and turn in for a prize. Don't forget to bring your flashlights and baskets! There will also be crafts and bounce house (except Old Meadows Park).

2026 City of Moorpark Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4th

The Annual City of Moorpark Easter Egg Hunt takes place on Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Arroyo Vista Community Park, 4550 Tierra Rejada Road, Moorpark

Admission is paid per child (ages 1+) (adults enter free with paid children) and must be purchased in advance. Infants under one enter free with paid sibling.

  • Wristbands purchased 3/2-3/13: $10 per child

  • Wristbands purchased 3/16-3/31: $15 per child

  • Late (4/1-4/4, if available): $20 per child

Wristbands are your child's admission to the event and allow them to participate in one (1) time-specific egg hunt, and unlimited access to carnival games, attractions, and crafts.

To purchase wristbands you must come in person to the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center (4550 Tierra Rejada Road, open Mon-Fri 8:30-6:00).

Children will enjoy an event full of Easter fun with age-appropriate egg hunts, photo opps with the Easter Bunny, crafts, carnival games, and attractions (bounce houses, slide, obstacle course, and petting zoo).

How it works: Bring your favorite basket, collect as many eggs as you can, and turn them all in for a prize! For safety reasons, parents are allowed in hunts only as indicated in the schedule. Strollers and pets are not allowed in any egg hunt. All hunts are age specific. Please note that each hunt has a maximum capacity. A Family Hunt is available toward the end of the event if your hunt is full. Prizes distributed at this event are not recommended for children under 3 years of age.

Santa Barbara Earth Day Festival Planned for April 25-26, 2026

The 2026 Santa Barbara Earth Day Festival is set to return to Alameda Park on Saturday, April 25 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 26 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Now in its 55th year, the community-organized festival is one of the longest-running Earth Day celebrations in the country and is one of the largest Earth Day festivals on the West Coast. Presented by the Community Environmental Council (CEC) and co-produced with longtime festival partner, CarpEvents, the Santa Barbara Earth Day Festival continues to serve as a beacon for environmental advocacy and education.

The 2026 festival — which is free to attend — anticipates all of the fun of past years. Highlights of this year’s event include a plant-forward Food Court, a Green Car show featuring free “Ride & Drive'' experiences, over 200 eco-friendly exhibitors, Beer & Wine Garden, Kids Zone filled with activities, two full days of live music, and so much more.

IHOP National Pancake Day on Tuesday, March 3, 2026

On Tuesday, March 3, 2026, IHOP restaurants nationwide will celebrate National Pancake Day from 7 am to 8 pm and will offer each guest a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes. In return, IHOP will ask guests to consider donating what they would have paid for the pancakes or more to Feeding America. IHOP has raised nearly $30 million for charity through this event since 2006!

2026 Arbor/Earth Day Celebration at the Thousand Oaks Community Center on Saturday, April 18th

The City of Thousand Oaks’ annual Arbor Earth Day Celebration returns to Thousand Oaks Community Center Park to celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day in one combined event on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 10am to 2pm. This year’s event will include an electric vehicle display area where the public can see and ask questions about various EV models, educational workshops on drip irrigation installation, caring for landscaping in drought, water-wise ground covers, as well as a bicycle safety course & helmet giveaway, bicycle donation/collection, kids activities & bounce house, compost and plant giveaways, raffles, live music, and more.
