UPDATE: Crumbl Cookies Newbury Park opened on May 12th.

Learned tonight thanks to a heads up from Mackenzie P via Instagram that another Crumbl Cookies is coming soon to the Conejo Valley. This one will be located at The Village at Newbury Park, 935 Broadbeck Drive, Unit B, in the former AT&T store in between Chipotle and Islands. The Westlake Village location opened a month ago at The Shoppes at Westlake Village. Another location at the Oxnard Esplanade opened July 1st

WaBa Grill Opened Last Month in Camarillo

WaBa Grill opened a mew location in Camarillo last month in the Camarillo Plaza, 1877 E. Daily Drive, Suite G in the former home of Papa John’s.

This fast-serve eatery serves rice bowls, salads and plates with chicken, steak, “WaBa” (chicken and steak), “Plantspired” Steak (made from plants), salmon, shrimp and tofu.

On The Alley Now Open at the Ventura Harbor

On The Alley opened last week at the Ventura Harbor Village, 1559 Spinnaker Drive #100 in Ventura, in the former home of Fratelli’s Pizza. On The Alley is a more casual, sister-venue to Brophy Bros., which is located upstairs.. Serving fresh fish tacos, burgers and salads as well as breakfast (all day), On The Alley is a great place to grab a quick, delicious bite at the Ventura Harbor. Open daily 8am to 8pm.

Denino's Pizzeria & Cafe Opening Soon in Thousand Oaks (UPDATE: April 16, 2023)

UPDATE: We heard on March 15th on the Leone’s Italian Ice’s Instagram page that Denino’s Thousand Oaks will be opening on Sunday, April 9, 2023.

Grand Opening of Fatburger and Buffalo's Express in Simi Valley on August 12th

Tomorrow, Friday, August 12th, a new Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express is opening at 2022 First Street in Simi Valley. Kalaveras Mexican Cuisine Coming Soon to Simi Valley (NOW OPEN)

Received word from Leon that the former Islands in Simi Valley (1213 Simi Town Center Way) that closed in late 2020 has a sign indicating Kalaveras Mexican Cuisine is coming soon.

Kalaveras is a fast casual eatery featuring Mexican and Latin American cuisine with vibrant colors, art, music and culture of El Dia de los Muertos (kalavera means "skull" in Spanish).

They currently have 12 locations (closest in Pasadena, West LA and Silver Lake) with 13 new locations coming soon, including this one, North Hollywood and Burbank.

The drive-thru Starbucks to be built at the corner of Moorpark Road and Avenida De Las Flores in Thousand Oaks is certain to be a destination for Thousand Oaks High School students across the street.
